HIGHLY recommend Nary Villa in Siem Reap. Wow! I could almost cry upon leaving I loved it so much. The owners and staff were so nice and greeted me every time I walked by. There is an electric kettle in the room and they give you bottled water and instant coffee/Lipton tea bag for your room each day they service it. My TV didn't work but I only attempted on the first night and forgot to let them know bc I wasn't there to watch TV. Met a lot of great people here during breakfasts by the pool. Everyone sharing info & stories. The owners of Nary Villa go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and help you book whatever you need. There is a spa on site (~$10 massage 60 mins!). They can book tours for you, rent bikes, scooters and super helpful at answering questions, all on-site. Rooms & bathrooms are clean. Bathroom is open layout with shower and no door but has a full length mirror next to desk. Also a love seat couch! I chose a room on 3rd floor for the view and sunrises did not disappoint. The pool was always nice to cool off in the afternoons Super easy to walk anywhere from here and be picked up for tours. Felt extremely safe here as a solo female traveler. I forget if they do other meals during the day but I did breakfast here for $3-5 USD. This included coffee and a dish (they have eggs, yogurt and oatmeal, fruit, local dishes, etc) I will absolutely stay here every single time I come here. I left feeling almost like family. សូមអរគុណ (Arkun -...
Read moreThis is a budget hotel and my expectations were met. Having a look at other hotels in the area I would have spent a few more dollars for comfort and location. The room was clean and made up every day. The pool is nice but they need new deck chairs where the backs sit more upright. The hotel in a quiet area. The tile flooring is beautiful and extends outside into the walkways. The beds are firm and the A/C is quiet The bath area wasn't my favourite with the toilet, sink and shower being in the same room. There was no squeegee to wipe the floor. The sink plumbing was loose (see video). There is no vanity or closet. Breakfast is not free. I'll spend a few more dollars somewhere...

If you’re going to stay in Siem Reap, we recommend you to stay here at the Nary Villa (Golden Gecko Villa). The owner, Sir Parob, is very kind, friendly and accommodating. They also have a pool for you to cooldown after a long day. Very relaxing vibe and most of all spacious accommodation.
The room was big, very clean, and there is an aircon and an electric fan if you are not a fan of aircon.
Deserves a 10 star rating. Will definitely stay here again if we come back to Siem Reap.🤩🤩🤩
P.S. Look for the cute rabbit at the back of the pool area. Lots of tropical fruit...
