Had a room where the bathroom door wouldn't open fully or close completely. The coat closet was as far away from the entrance door as possible. None of the light shades had nuts on the mounting bolts, so you had to be careful trying to turn them on/off at night, or they'd fall off. The coffee machine cord didn't reach an outlet!? There were no accessible outlets near the bed to plug your phone (or an alarm clock) into. Tiniest window ever. The room appeared clean, but when I spilt some drink mix powder on the floor and put the maid sign on the doorknob, everything was tidied, but the floor was not vacuumed. People were nice and responsive when I noted the floor was still dirty, and they plugged in an extension cord for the coffee machine the next day while I was gone. Bed was comfy, sheets looked clean, shower worked. It seemed expensive for what I got, but I have experience way worse.

immaculately clean! perfectly appointed, retro lil gem. 3 min walk to THE best beef dip in canada at mcleod restaurant which is conveniently next door to a cannabis dealer lol and if you like yer spirits + suds a liquor merchant is a hop skip and a tumble away 🤩

This is a nice, cozy motel with comfortable rooms and clean beds. The service is excellent, and the owners seem very nice. The pool doesn't work though.

My brother and I stayed here during a November snow storm. We walked into the office, and it was covered in broke back mountain memorabilia. We then proceeded to our room. There were beetles everywhere. We went to the guy at the front desk. His exact words were “ the flying ones? Yeah they come indoors when it gets cold out. Don’t worry they don’t bite.” He then proceeded to pick a couple up and throw them outside. On top of all this, the heat in the bathroom didn’t work, and it was damn near the -10 outside temperature. Pretty awesome after a warm shower. I had to give it at least a star because our truck was in the shop so we couldn’t sleep in that, and it was marginally better...

Booked our room on line while travelling. Was a fine place to stay for the night during our trip. Friendly helpful service and willing to accommodate. We ended up with a family room with kitchenette, which worked out great as there is a grocery and liquor store right across the street. We arrived after 5pm so did not really explore Fort Macleod just a short walk to stretch the legs and then groceries for dinner. Room was spacious and there is a pool and hot tub that looked alright. Cleanliness was average kitchen was well stocked with dishes. Bed was firm and comfortable, slight traffic noise, but had a...
