Igloo Restaurant — Restaurant in Alberta

My husband and I tried their pizza while in Fort Macleod for a business trip. Oh my gosh, so good. We had their vegetarian pizza, and the dough and crust are delicious..! (The pizza also came with their special Tokyo seasoning, which also added nice and pleasant spice to it) I'm not a pizza professional so I don't know how to explain it but it's way yummier from other pizza I've had before. The toppings are so fresh that I could tell they care about the food and their customers. We visited the store again to talk to the owner and his wife. They are such amazing individuals. They explained how they handle veggies so freshly and how they make their special dough. What a shame our trip ended earlier than planned, and couldn't have the chance to re-visit the store after that. Igloo Cafe is our #1 place to go to when next time we go to...

I had been looking forward to going to Igloo since i came into town for a visit a few days ago..looked up the menu on their website..it had so many flavours of soft serve I couldn't wait to get there..when I did arrive we couldn't eat inside .I get it..Covid..put a sign up letting you know the change..and then..NO SOFT SERVE...it's on your website..I'm so tired of companies that are too lazy to update their website info..and then its..."oh well..sucks to be you"...to me that's false advertising..I decided on strawberry hard ice cream...it didn't even taste like strawberry..I told the clerk..got the "face"..unsincerely asked if I wanted a different flavour..decided I had had enough disappointment from them for one day..threw out the...

I've been here many times and there are things to love and like about this place. This time (has there been a change in management?) we had to order outside, they are not allowing indoor seating. The price seemed higher than expected and for what we got. The curley fries and pepperoni pizza were hot and delicious. We ordered 2 mushroom swiss burgers and received only one and a bacon cheeseburger. We didn't notice until we were driving away.
