We chose this hotel because it was terrifically close to the highway and we had made a quick decision to bail out on the wind storm/blizzard of Jan 2025. Right from the front desk, I overzealously booked the wrong date in my stress/exhaustion from our drive from Grand Falls New Brunswick but the staff were quick to respond to my e-mail and just as quick to rectify my error without charging a fee. The hotel is fairly nice with a bit of an oddball, standoutish elevator but the decor on each floor makes its own charm. From entering the room you know immediately that you got a great deal on the rate, we had a spacious double queen, the bathroom was ample and there was even a balcony overlooking the pool, this room was definitely made for a long term stay, unfortunately we were only there for the night. The pool was great, the ambient color changing lights were highlighted by the dim lighting which added to the relaxation and the oversized hot tub Jacuzzi was a very welcome touch that I didn't want to leave. And the beautiful touch I adored the most were the pet birds. We have several birds at home and to be able to see their Canaries and Conures was a welcome and warming touch to our stay. Food options close by were not really in our pallette but were by no means bad. There is a gas station with full convenience store in the attached parking lot, about 20 steps from the lobby door to the store door. We will 100% be back on every pass through Quebec, and I'm a trooper, unless weather stops me, I'll make the 13+ hour drive between SW Ontario and NE New Brunswick, so choosing to spend the money to break our trip should tell you a lot about the quality of this property.

Our overall experience was average and below, given the price of 300$ per night (with taxes and fees). Room: large and relatively clean. We were provided with two towels for four of us. There was some issue with the plumbing under the sink, the water was leaking on the floor, was not fixed. Breakfast: Quick continental breakfast, no wait. For 300$ per night we were offered to clean utensils in a dirty soap bucket ourself, and scrab the plates. Something unique to this hotel. No service during breakfast. Though I saw the same single person that was pushing all customers with her elbows every morning. Surprisingly they expected to get tips at the exit. Pool: Open 9 am to 9 pm, plenty of pool towels. Water was not clean.

My family stayed at this hotel on Aug.22. This is the first one of our eight-nights summer road trip, the best price/performance hotel among the eight. First of all I like the cleanliness of this hotel. Second the location is easy accessible with plenty parking space, and old Quebec city is easily accessible via Quebec-Levis Ferry. Third I think this is a great weekend getaway place because of the well maintained pool. Quebec city is worthy of multiple visits, and this hotel is definitely the choice of my next stay, especially in winter season when daytime is short, so I could spend my time in the pool.

After over 10 yrs of been a customer of this hotel every year on our way to and from the Eastern coast the dissatisfaction was devastating. Always made the reservations in advance to the hotel by phone directly to the hotel. This year on my way to the coast when we were checking out the person at the counter charged us $30 extra plus tax because they didn’t know when we check in that we had one. Reservation was made for 2 adults one dog. The same person that was reading a book with an unmentionable title. Including the ‘F word’ fir every customer to see. We already had our reservation for our way back. But, unfortunately we needed to cut our stay short on the coast due to a death in the family. When I called the Hotel they cancelled my reservation and charged us more than TWICE the price of the room. Because it was a ‘last minute reservation’ Our next hotel as always was the Best Western where we are charged $10 for our pet and she gets a bed, 2 cookies and a roll of poopy bags. They honor my reservation price they told us. I only changed the date of your arrival. No worries!! That shows excellent customer service and a home away from home. This year the breakfast a L’Oiseliere was also shocking. Line up on the hallway to get a coffee and eggs and potatoes that were impossible to eat. All in flimsy paper plates and cups. The potatoes felt like they had a ton of pepper or cayenne on them. Eggs overcook. But the time you sat down everything was congealed to an ugly disgusting mess. They probably changed owners or management the personnel of the front desk lack of finesse and training shows a huge change!! The filth in the rooms disgusting. I can go for hours the worse experience in a hotel in my life!! Because of the sad situation of our hasty return I didn’t bother to change hotels. I...

Don’t stay here. Would not pick this place again. Got it on a discount site, would DEFINITELY not pay full price.

Pros: Pet friendly. We could have our golden retriever.

Cons: GROSS breakfast, like, below elementary-school cafeteria quality. Horrendous and disgusting. Uneatable. I took the Iogo yogurt, but nothing else was anything but revolting. It’s awful, I can’t even express how bad the breakfast is. Words can’t describe, but it all felt like a bunch of plastic packages were cut open and food just poured into dispensing units. Nothing made on site.

Bed: It felt like a thin mattress on top of a wooden board. It was one of the worst sleeps in my life.

Bathroom: Not sure how this is possible, but empty toilet paper rolls left in the bathroom from the last guests…? Questioning on the staff.

Bedside table: Good thing I checked to make sure my phone was charging because one of the two outlets on the bedside socket were DEAD. Non-functional. I had to unplug the lamp to charge my phone overnight. Beware if you have a room overlooking the pool. Kid noise starts around 10am.

Checking in: We got greeted by a receptionist who couldn’t figure out our reservation, who didn’t speak English (so I had to jump to French as my 2nd fluent language), who charged us $30 extra for a dog (which we didn’t see anywhere before staying) and $153 despite us seeing everywhere else the deposit was 150?

I noticed when looking out into the pool area, that the hot tub from above, looked broken or in need of a cleaning, really badly (weird things floating on the surface and seemingly that the filters or chemical balance must not be working or that it’s super dirty… and I could see that from my 4th floor room… ugh.)

Spend a few extra bucks and go...

I am not a fan of leaving bad reviews but after my experience with this hotel i felt it was needed. Upon showing up it was storming and the only available parking was behing the gas staion beside the hotel. I didnt realise until the next morning i could of been towed for parking there when i read note left outside the elevator. When we got to our room i noticed it was very warm in the room and there was holes in the walls all through the room. I took photos to be sure i wpuldnt be charged for them later. We didnt check in until about 9 so i didnt think there would be a chance of getting a new room at the time so figured we would just deal with it for the night. We couldnt get the ac to work properly all night, it was too hot or too cold no turning to a proper temp. The tipping point was about 11 or 12 when we had both kids to bed and the whirlpool tub decided to turn on all by itself about 5 times in total my wife called the desk as i couldnt speak french and they said they would have maintenance come look at it, this never happened. Outside of that the beds were the most uncomfortable ive slept in for years. On check out we notified them again of the holes in the walls and the whirlpool and were never offered a discount or anything. Which i felt was definitely necessary but after the night we had i was ready to just leave. We found other accomodations for the next night. Next time im in levis i will sleep in my car before i would ever stay in this hotel again, this was the second time we stayed here, the first time was fine, but for some reason this time ot seems to have gone down hill since we stayed 5 years ago, the furniture is tore up all through the hotel, and looks like theu have given up on maintenance...
