I was very disappointed ☹️. Checking-in was good. The girl at the reception received very well. So, I give her 10/10. Then I proceeded to the room #109 which was given to me to stay. As soon as I entered the room, I’ve noticed the transition strip between the shower room and the living space was broken and came out of the flooring exposing nails and other flooring materials. The shower head and the faucet was not working properly . The electric blow dry provided in the bathroom didn’t work. Seems it’s broken too. So, I was late to catch up my meeting as I couldn’t dry and set my hair on time. I mentioned these things to a guy at the reception that night. He seemed he didn’t care much . In the morning, I’m scheduled to check out at 11 , but someone keep knocking my door continuously and louder than Normal .. I was still in bed and set my alarm to get up at 10:30 then check out by 11. So, I didn’t have time to put my cloths on as I keep hearing the door knocking continuously . ( thought there might be an emergency). When I opened the door a crack and peaked through, there was this house keeping lady standing in front of the door and asked me “are you checking out ?”
No , apologizing , no wishing no nothing .
I replied “ not now , will check out at 11’
Lady : oh okay ! [then she left ].
I lost my half hour beautiful sleep there .
So, at 11 I came to the frond desk to check out . There was this guy named ‘Kenneth’ he doesn’t know what he was doing. I wished him ‘good morning’ and mentioned I’m checking out . Also, I brought to his attention that the shower flooring was broken and the blow dryer was not working.
He didn’t say a word, he didn’t care, I was waiting he would say something to me. He started addressing another guest behind me while I was still waiting at the reception waiting for his answer. The other guest continued to talk to Kenneth by passing me and Kenneth was talking to her ignoring me.
Few minutes after , I said to the lady guest that “ excuse me, you realize that I’m in the process of checking out and I have a flight to catch soon.” She replied , I don’t know, he(Kenneth the receptionist)started talking and I am talking too. He didn’t say anything at this point. So, I asked him am I good to go , and he said “yes you are good to go” so, I left right away.
I have experienced, very unpleasant and unprofessional checking out process. People don’t care about the guests feelings and quality of stay was compromised what the hotel promised for . On a final note, Sadly, Quality inn’ has no ‘quality’ in it....
Read moreThe only positive thing I have to say about this place were the service workers. Every employee I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful, but management wasn’t in that day and based on our experience I can only imagine what they are like.
Images are incredibly misleading. These are not nice rooms. When we first arrived, the room was not even the same one we had booked online. It was completely different, in fact if you want to scroll through the reviews it looked almost exactly like the one someone had shared here where their room was so infested with cockroaches that they were even crawling on the bed! Thankfully the gentleman who worked at the front desk was able to switch our room to the one we had booked online.
Everything in the hotel is dirty. The dumpster out back looks like a disastrous mountain, the hotels hallways have dirt tracked through them and are riddled with mysterious stains. (A pattern with this place you will find.)
Onto your room, if you are lucky enough to have one of the nicer rooms you are rewarded with having most of the holes in the wall covered by furniture pieces. You will find stains everywhere, in areas where you don’t even understand how stains could be there. On the floors, on the walls, on the bed, on the furniture. They come in all shapes and colours too! White, black, red, yellow let your imagination run wild! Mold appeared to be growing out of the base of the floorboard near the bathroom as well.
We were too scared to even set our bags down on the bed out of fear for bed bugs, but if you’re a strong warrior and decide to brave it out for the night to get a good nights rest. Good luck! This hotel is near the airport which is convenient, but they have to have 0 soundproofing because you will hear of planes soaring by at thunderous volume at what seems like every 5 minutes.
We couldn’t have even been there for an hour when we asked to leave. The employees there at the time were not entitled to be able to give refunds, so we had to go through Expedia where we booked. Thank goodness for them because originally for our, let’s be generous and say 1 hour stay they were only going to refund us for 1 day (out of 2 booked) PLUS charge an early checkout fee. Thankfully Expedia advocated for us and were able to get the one day refunded without a fee.
I cannot stress enough how much I believe this is a mismanagement problem and not a problem of the employees working here. If they treat their customers so trashy, I can only imagine how they treat their employees.
If you decide to stay...
Read moreStayed at this hotel recently with a few friends and would definitely not recommend it to other guests. We stayed at this location for 3 days/2 nights and on the second day of our stay, housekeeping threw away a bag of my clothes and some accessories/jewelry costing over $120. I went to the receptionist to notify them of this issue the night that I discovered this but was turned away and told to come back in the morning as that was when housekeeping was working. The next morning I again went to the receptionist to raise this issue but was then told that the housekeeper was not working that day and that they would message them to see what was going on and follow up with the problem, but that it was very likely that there was nothing they could do other than potentially crediting the stay with approximately $40-ish which did not even cover the cost of even 1 item. Throughout this whole problem, I was told several things: We were told that housekeeping occurred every other day when we were checking in and that since they came that day, they would not be doing any housekeeping the second day of our stay which was the day that my clothes were removed from the room I was also told that housekeeping would have looked in the bags before throwing anything out Combining these two pieces of information, I am inclined to believe that my clothes and accessories were not thrown out but rather were likely stolen. When I further raised the issue by messaging the property through the reservation site, instead of offering any more information/follow-up to this issue I was instead told that housekeeping did not throw out any clothing and doubled down on the fact that if I had placed items in the garbage or recycle bin then it would be treated as garbage. My items were not placed in those bins but in a separate clear plastic bag off to the side. In the end, no compensation or apology of any sort was offered and instead the message that I got back implied that I was a liar of sorts and that I should check my own luggage more clearly. The message was very condescending and unprofessional and showed very poor service. 100% will not recommend staying at this location or any branch of this inn ever again. If staying here be aware of...
