CAME BACK TO EDIT THIS BECAUSE AFTER A MONTH THE WEBSITE IS STILL NOT UPDATED. OFFCIAL WEBSITE says there IS luggage storage service but the front desk insisted that there is none. I showed the lady the website and she said the website is operated by a third party and it was not up to date. That is the problem on your hotel end yet the guests are the ones suffering. The front desk is not helping at all. Logically, If a hotel does not throw away lost items of guests, you should be able to keep belongings in a place which is literally a luggage storage area. Not to mention that the lady said the hotel actually receives packages on behalf of guests. That is the exact same thing! I dont understand why it is not possible to keep my bag behind the front desk when I actually offered to sign a waiver: if anything happens to my stuff it is 100% on me. If you are not able to provide the service due to any reason, no problem, just do NOT write that on your website. But if you did, I reckon it is the hotel’s responsibility to offer alternatives or work something out to compensate for the mistake you make. Not leaving me stranded with a 8kg bag at the hotel lobby. Poor staff training, poor management and poor hotel policy. Everything else was good but this last bit caused me a HUGE trouble when I do not have a car. Disappointed to see such a big brand making such mistakes.

We booked the Suite with 2 Queen beds for two nights. Great stay at this new hotel with excellent amenities. We love that the hotel is pet friendly, our dog was very comfortable. We also requested a crib in our room for $10 per night. The crib looked brand new, and a mattress sheet and an extra blanket were provided with the crib. The rooms and public areas were clean and spacious. Our room was on the second floor, close to the elevators but it very quiet and we couldn’t hear anything from the hallway or parking lot. The ice machine was right by the elevator. Good variety of breakfast options, including both hot and cold items. Plenty of seating in the dining area and lobby. Both the gym and pool were clean and easily accessible. There was a coffee machine in the lobby with complimentary coffee and tea. For cold filtered water, there was a water dispenser in the fitness center, which we used to refill our water bottles. The staff was friendly, answered all our questions and resolved any issues quickly. Would highly recommend this hotel when staying in Parry Sound.

This is a new hotel and it’s critical to maintain a standard of care for the facility. Our bed had fallen off the bed frame so it bowed. We tried to put the bed back on the frame and found that a 1”x 6” piece of wood, the length of the bed, had been jammed into the frame as a makeshift solution. When we reported to the front desk the problem with the bed, there didn’t seem to be any urgency to get this fixed. I think head office needs to realize that staff may need a little bit more training on maintaining the building and responding to customers. Customer care did not create a customer experience that entices us to remember a good experience. One other note of mention- the flags on the property are torn and badly worn. First impressions count.

I had a 5-week stay here in 2024 for my work. My review summary: EXCELLENT! Do stay here, you will not be disappointed. I have high standards for all aspects of the hotels I patronize, and I don't pull my review punches when I find poor service, filth, or lack of value. BW Parry Sound is at the top of my list of excellent, clean, good-value hoteliers. BW-PS is the finest BW property I have stayed at in Canada.

Front desk staff (I was met by Het and Sandeep) were wonderful, friendly, courteous and helpful. Housekeeping staff are top-notch; my room was refreshed every day and always comfortable to return to after a day of work. I talked with the HK manager, a friendly gentleman, who personally does QA checks on his staff's efforts every day, and it shows. These professionals are proud of their work, and the guest benefits from their professionalism and attention to detail.

At the daily breakfast, Gina, Hannah and Neepa provide a hearty, tasty and varied selection each day, with smiles and pleasant, excellent personal service, and the serving area and dining area are always spotless. A lovely start to each day I stayed here, thank you, ladies!

I could go on, but it would be more praise and compliments to the staff. Stay here. It is a short 20 minutes' walk to downtown, 30 minutes to the waterfront. I quite enjoyed walking back from the CG base each day and stopping occasionally for a drink at one of the local pubs, or the Legion, downtown.

A comfortable, modern, clean hotel with terrific staff, in a lovely town. I will vacation here in the future and stay at Parry Sound's Best Western Plus again. 5...

Overall it was an excellent stay. Would have given 5 stars should service at check in was better handled. For a planned hockey tournament hosted in that city; the check in service was horrible. Emma whom was on the desk did absolutely nothing to accommodate or check in with staff seeking if rooms would be available upon our arrival which was earlier than actual check in. Early arrival for my family was due to a hockey game scheduled for 3pm. Then when we returned back to the hotel to check in because at this point we had to get my son to his game; which he and other players ended changing into thier suits on the property not in rooms as intended with an early check in. We drove 3 hours for this service and willing to pay extra fees. There was a line up which Emma knew she caused and left work right in front of all of us leaving the other lady to handle us checking in. Very deliberate and poor, poor team player and hotel worker representing that brand. There was another lady and her partner whom came to help us all were incredible. Professional. Polite. Speedy. All things Emma was not. Beyond horrible experience with Emma, the rooms were excellent. Breakfast, pool and gym were all excellent. Meeting rooms excellent and top kudos to the maintenance manager who made sure he took care of us during our wait upon arrival and took the time to listen to us disgruntled about Emma upon leaving. Other people working the hotel were fantastic. But goes to show that one person can cause grief on a weekend intended to be fun, enjoyable and overall...
