Gîte La Belle Visite (anciennement Gîte Victoria) — Hotel in Rimouski

We stayed two nights, and were warmly welcomed by the manager (owner?). He showed us where to park and helped us store our bicycle. The house is cute with a small sitting area and a good sized breakfast room. There is a lovely little balcony and a nice front porch for outdoor sitting.||||We were in Room 2, and I would definitely avoid that room. It was traditional B&B cute with the obligatory teddy bear, but it was also tiny. It was impossible for two people with a small suitcase and backpack each not to have to spend a lot of time stepping around these objects on the floor. I wouldn't even want this room as a single person if it were hot because it only has one small window that opens. ||||The breakfasts were pleasant, but the items don't change day to day, so you might get tired of the same thing if staying too long.||||Really, if we had been given a larger room, I would have rated this...

The owner was very welcoming even as we booked only 30 minutes before our arrival. He made us directly feel at home. The bedroom was nice and cosy. The bathroom across the hall is nice, functional and clean. The breakfast was perfect to gain enough energy for a busy visiting...
