When we arrived we were not greeted and had to call out into a dark restaurant to see if we were even in the right place. Once we were acknowledged our paperwork along with other guests information was very legible on what I could only think is a hostess stand from the restaurant(privacy is clearly not a concern) Hallways to the third level were half painted. Little to no lights were on, it was dark and gloomy. When we were directed to our room on the third floor it was obvious this room had not been used in sometime. Two spiders hung from the only light in the bare room. One was very large and hard not to miss. The room was bare. Mismatched furniture, no tv and very dated. The bed was incredibly soft and basically folded in the middle and made an obnoxious noise with the smallest movements. The shower has little to no water pressure. There was a large hole in the ceiling in the bathroom that was maybe at one time an exhaust fan. The smell was stale and the air conditioning barely kept up and when was working was very loud, it was sealed with aluminum foil. No breakfast was offered and they said coffee would be available at 7-7:30. When we left not a soul was around to check us out or even acknowledge we were there. A set keys were in the office door available for the taking. We do not recommend. Very disappointed. From the outside you can see this was once a charming Inn, we were very much looking forward to this stay but it definitely put a damper on...

When I tried to check in a bit early, there was no one on the property. The manager did not show up until 15:20 stating traffic issues. The room was clean but very basic. No TV, no coffee maker, and a very small bathroom. The door lock was not secure, just a push button lock. The door was not aligned and didn’t shut properly so had to be slammed shut. Judging from the other slamming noises I heard, other rooms were the same. I did not receive any housekeeping services in my 2 night stay. When I returned for the day, I had to ask the girl at the bar why my room was not cleaned and restocked (with toilet paper). She told me that if I wanted my room cleaned, I had to post a sign on my door. All I saw was a Do Not Disturb sign. Apparently, the Please Clean Room note was on the other side. I have never had to request housekeeping services before. I would not stay here again. A disappointing stay for my last two days...

Stayed in a spacious well appointed king suite for 1 night while enroute to PEI. Room had lots of historical charm with exposed wood beams and quirky angles. After a late dinner, I was looking forward to a hot shower only to be disappointed by nothing but cold water coming out of the tap :-(

I waited an hour, but still same result. It was 11:30 pm by that point so there were no staff around. Out of desparation, I called the hotel number and was surprised the manager Stacy answered. She checked the hot water heater and within 15 mins, we had hot water :-)

Breakfast (included) the next morning also deserves special mention. I could not decide between sausage or bacon, so the server gave me both. Best bacon ever! Thin and crispy without any greasiness. I would go back just for the bacon :-)

Tip: Check out the rooftop patio on the 3rd floor for some...

Charming bed & breakfast style accommodation in a great location. First impression upon arriving in the parking lot was that the building was in need of some attention to freshen up the property. Check in was easy enough though; our 3rd floor room was very spacious although needed to be cautious walking around with the low slanted ceilings. Jacuzzi was nice to unwind after a long day of driving. Appreciated the AC but was too loud to sleep with it on, so relied on the ceiling fan (opening windows would have been nice except for the noise from the Main Street traffic). Breakfast in the main floor restaurant was good and convenient, before heading back out on our Maritime road trip.

Had a delicious dinner date in the restaurant. Friendly, timely service. Lovely menu with plenty of options. FRESH, made in house, perfect portion sizes, served hot. Great selection of beverages. Price was right! Definitely will be a regular to try more menu items!
