I cannot tell you how absolutely impressed I was with restaurant. It may not seem like much from the outside, and the "take out" in its name may throw you off, but this restaurant is an absolute must eat here in Shediac. Our group of four all ordered their fish and chips - simply perfect. The fish was breaded (not battered) which made it a bit lighter of a meal, but tasted great. The fries were homemade and cooked nice and crisp. It also came with a small cup of coleslaw and homemade Tatar sauce. There was a lot of great quality food at a very reasonable price. I have to mention their outstanding service in the restaurant - it is going to blow your mind, seriously. When you enter the restaurant you need to order your food at the cashier - whether you are eating in or grabbing a meal to go (see menu below). After ordering, we sat down at a table (seat yourself). Our meals were ready in five minutes. They announce meals that are ready over their speaker system. If you happen to miss it, no worries, they deliver it to your table in a flash. The meals do come out on paper plates and you use a plastic fork and knife, but it doesn't take away from the meal at all. The establishment does serve beer and coolers to add to the meal. I suggest eating your meal out on their deck - very original tables (see picture below). If you are looking for a great meal in Shediac, go no further than this local restaurant - I'll certainly be back šŸ˜€šŸ‘šŸ“

NB took a step back in their COVID protocols this day and we were required to show proof of being vaccinated before progressing through their restaurant. All good since we agree the increase in COVID numbers need to be stopped. Once cleared, my wife Pat ordered the lobster roll while I ordered the fish and chips. We shared the chips. We were allowed to pick our own table with the message that they'll find us once our meal was ready. We both agreed to eat outside on their patio since the weather was grand. Meal came too quick since we were enjoying our surroundings. We both took delight in our meals. Pat's only negative comment was that the lobster was cold. They told her before hand that it would be. Being the first lobster roll she'd ever eaten Pat would admit that it was her best and worst tasting, lol. Pat did enjoy it though. My fish was perfect. Pure white and perfectly flaky with a side of completely delicious. We both took delight in their actual tables. Enjoyed looking at the many things hidden within the table top that we sat at. We both look forward to coming back here again, all within the world's top lobster city.

Great atmosphere; everyone is enjoying their food, with family or friends, and having a good time. Lots of seating, inside and out. Staff is lovely and helpful. For some other prices around town, this place is reasonable and you get more. The wait was acceptable considering we came at a busy time. At first glance I thought the lobster roll was small, but it was loaded with meat and definitely filling. The bun was soft with a nice light toasting. My grandmother said the chowder was light and delicious, with big chunks of seafood. The fish n' chips are served with haddock fried in a breading that was perfectly cooked! I'll be back again for sure, great prices for good food in large portions.

I've been told for years that this is THE place for clams. So on this trip my mother decided that she'd show me how true this was. First, and I have to mention it as a military vet, they were very accommodating to my service dog. They asked me questions but never engaged the dog, never distracting him. "Fantastic" I thought. It'll be much easier this way. I noticed immediately that it was a down home east coast decor but was unusually clean. I went to the patio and noticed how busy it was only 40 minutes to closing. I had only been sitting for 5 minutes when they brought our order. At first bite I realized my mother might be right, these were fantastic clams. Crisp and not soggy as many are often found. Full of flavor but not fishy. Their tartar sauce was homemade too so that's a plus, although despite being good it was a little too much straight mayo taste for my liking. The portion was healthy but there's no point in ordering a large because you may not be able to tell the difference between a large and a small. All in all it had a great atmosphere for a down home restaurant. Very good service, nice decor, good fries and yes. .......
