I cannot tell you how absolutely impressed I was with restaurant. It may not seem like much from the outside, and the "take out" in its name may throw you off, but this restaurant is an absolute must eat here in Shediac. Our group of four all ordered their fish and chips - simply perfect. The fish was breaded (not battered) which made it a bit lighter of a meal, but tasted great. The fries were homemade and cooked nice and crisp. It also came with a small cup of coleslaw and homemade Tatar sauce. There was a lot of great quality food at a very reasonable price. I have to mention their outstanding service in the restaurant - it is going to blow your mind, seriously. When you enter the restaurant you need to order your food at the cashier - whether you are eating in or grabbing a meal to go (see menu below). After ordering, we sat down at a table (seat yourself). Our meals were ready in five minutes. They announce meals that are ready over their speaker system. If you happen to miss it, no worries, they deliver it to your table in a flash. The meals do come out on paper plates and you use a plastic fork and knife, but it doesn't take away from the meal at all. The establishment does serve beer and coolers to add to the meal. I suggest eating your meal out on their deck - very original tables (see picture below). If you are looking for a great meal in Shediac, go no further than this local restaurant - I'll certainly...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been told for years that this is THE place for clams. So on this trip my mother decided that she'd show me how true this was. First, and I have to mention it as a military vet, they were very accommodating to my service dog. They asked me questions but never engaged the dog, never distracting him. "Fantastic" I thought. It'll be much easier this way. I noticed immediately that it was a down home east coast decor but was unusually clean. I went to the patio and noticed how busy it was only 40 minutes to closing. I had only been sitting for 5 minutes when they brought our order. At first bite I realized my mother might be right, these were fantastic clams. Crisp and not soggy as many are often found. Full of flavor but not fishy. Their tartar sauce was homemade too so that's a plus, although despite being good it was a little too much straight mayo taste for my liking. The portion was healthy but there's no point in ordering a large because you may not be able to tell the difference between a large and a small. All in all it had a great atmosphere for a down home restaurant. Very good service, nice decor, good fries and yes. .......
