Hostal Geosol — Hotel in Antofagasta

I really enjoyed my stay for the most of it. It comes pretty close to a stay at a nice hotel. There were solely three details that bothered me.

Breakfast: Felt relatively basic, some fruit and fresh milk would have been appreciated.

Service: Some of the girls working there were super nice while others appeared a bit apathetic. On check-in I was basically just handed the key without much further explanation. And at breakfast I was simply given things, not being asked if I would want or liked any of it.

Linens: Pretty much all the towels, bed sheets etc. had a couple of stains on them. And hadn’t been changed even after I left them...

Amazing place - hotel quality rooms (comfortable beds and pillows, nice private bathroom with a big shower) but at a hostel price and with nice common areas to meet other travelers. O hotel parece ser ótimo mas não cheguei a ficar nele. Apenas visitar. Não tem uma placa visível, então demorei um pouco pra encontrar. Outra: não aceita cartão de crédito, o que cai muito na concepção de nós, visitantes. Aceitam só “efectivo” (dinheiro). Outra coisa: diz que tem vaga de estacionamento, mas só tem uma vaga no hotel inteiro. Tem vagas fora, pelo que vi dependendo do horário fica um pouco difícil de estacionar… O local parece ser limpo.
