Hotel Nuevo Amanecer — Hotel in Calama

This place is pretty cheap and OK in Calama. The breakfast is OK for the price you pay. The owner can arrange a transfer to the airport for $CHL 5 000 which is the taxi price from what I heard. On my floor, there were 2 restrooms which could have been not enough if the hotel was fully booked. Artur, the owner is very nice. I just didn't like the fact that one the windows in my room was broken, so you could enter the room just by passing your arm inside and opening the lock. Didn't feel much safe... But the place overall...

Pésimo. Los propios dueños nos robaron. Eramos 3 personas y nos robaron la mitad a cada uno pretendiendo que no nos diéramos cuenta. El propio dueño nos dijo que dejáramos todo en la habitación ya que por la noche roban en la calle, nos dijo dónde ir, qué visitar etc para saber la hora a la que no estaríamos... En fin, nos la jugó como a turistas. Nos robaron 140.000 pesos chilenos y no pudimos hacer nada. Ni hay cámaras ni testigos, y según el dueño solo nosotros teníamos llave... Ni si quiera él. NADA...
