Personally I do not recommend this hotel for the simple fact that it is extremely expensive for what it is, compared to the very basic service they try to provide.||I went there twice in a month, each time stayed 6 nights for business purposes. I can hardly remember a smile (with one exception, a gentleman working at the reception and who was the only helpful person there). The rest was just arrogance and full attitude, answering back before listening to the client, staff was hard to communicate with and unfriendly. ||We have rented a meeting room as well. They only came to clean it up after insisting several times. After discussing the matter, the receptionist simply said: you need to file a written complaint - like some bureaucratic procedure. Nobody apologies for letting us stay in a dirty (but expansive) conference room, moreover it was suggested it was our fault because we did not ask earlier or we locked it overnight. As a matter of fact, I did make a written complaint on our second day and got called back days later, after we already left.||The hotel ground floor was secured from the outside with planks and metals due to some protests in the town - a situation which we had to accept. Therefore, the evening access was through a side garage entrance. As we arrived at this entrance, nobody was there. Tried to ring a bell for several minutes and suddenly we realized that the cable connection was cut off. So us, the paying guests, were locked outside in the cold with nobody to open us up. We got the idea to call the reception on our mobile and at some point the night guard in charge finally arrived. As I complained that it is not appropriate to let us wait outside in the night cold of the desert, he was just being more unfriendly and angry to us, of course with no apologies at all. We received a few days later (!) the explanation that the guard was doing his tour in the hotel, therefore he could not be present to open us the door.||Restaurant is average and the service is poor. Breakfast is much better than the rest of the hotel, provided the restaurant manager is there (which unfortunately was not the case last time as he got sick).||Rooms, on the other hand are large and the cleaning int he rooms is indeed very good. I showed them the charges in my mobile banking and they said that was the way the process and later the bank will reverse. After insisting for a different solution all the transactions with my card were reversed and a new charge made for the total. First of all, no one spoke English, than I asked the trip coordinator to explain and the lady on reception said that she doesn’t have any change and could not give me the change even in CLP.
