Isla Yu Patagonia Hostal — Hotel in Puerto Natales

Very small kitchen. The sheets of the private bedroom clearly hadn't been washed and the floor was dirty. Breakfast is basic and left out overnight, so the cheese really isn't fresh. On top, the owner is not very honest : we agreed to rent a car with him, he told us the price was 180$ (USD) for 3 days. Then at night he told us it was actually 180 CLP and he wanted us to pay the difference. It was too late to rent with another agency and we were leaving early the next day so we had no choice but to pay. This place was clean and empty because we came during off season. It was very affordable. We got a private room with a shared bathroom. It gets a 2 because the owner was very pushy with the tours. There was a miscommunication between us about a tour and we were scolded like children. I did not like the service here. We even overheard him talking about us to another guest in the house. It was very unprofessional. It is about a 20- minute walk to the center. We stayed there for 7 days and got free breakfast for 5 of those days. It was a simple breakfast. La chambre qu on nous a propose se trouvait juste a cote de la porte de rue mais aussi dans le salon de la maison. On nous a demande de paye la chambre avant meme de nous avoir montre la salle de bain commune et cuisine commune. Pour ce qui concernait la chambre, on ne peut plus rustique et vieillot on pourrait croire qu ils ont rajoute des cloisons dans leur salon pour avoir une chambre en plus. Il y avait un vieux chauffage au gaz dans la chambre et ca sentait tres fort le gaz el le vieux,cela pouvait etre dangereux de respirer cela. Je ne me suis pas sentie bien dans ce lieu. Je n aurais pas pu rester dormir la. En plus, au moment de payer il nous on demander la tva de 19% en plus sur le prix, ce qui correspond a leur conmission sur Booking.alors la je n etais pas d accord. Ayant voyage deja 40 jour avant. Cette chambre, ne valait pas du tout son prix. Elle est situee a 20-25min a pied de la gare de bus et loin du centre. Pour avoir discute, Je me suis fait jeter de l hostel a 23h30 alors qu il neigeait et pleuvait dehors. Mais finalement quel bonheur car j ai trouve une superbe vrai chambre toute neuve, accueillante, avec petit dejeuner et surtout salle de bain privee dans un vrai hotel a 10min de la gare de bus pour seulement 6000 pesos de plus que le Yu (pour 3 nuits) . Quelle difference. Mon impression et intuition etaient bien bonne. La chambre propose au Yu ne vaut vraiment pas son prix.(bcp bcp trop cher) Je ne recommande pas cette auberge il y a bien mieux...
