We stayed two separate occasions at this funky B&B for layovers in Santiago - it was booked by the organization paying for our travel. It is also in a sketchy neighborhood (watch for pickpockets and don't flash your cell phone) but very close to a metro station so you can get to the rest of the city easily. It has a very interesting Lobby - lots of curios and eye candy. Look up at the amazing 4th floor ceiling! Due to security issues you have to ring bell to get in and to get out but staff were always there. Our room first night was interior - no windows. It was freezing - colder that it was outside. We slept in our clothes to keep as warm as possible. Our room the second stay was just off the lobby - overlooking the street. It was perfect except that one of the Windows could not be fully covered - so we had to change clothes in the bathroom. It was light and cherry otherwise. We had to leave early both stays so did not have breakfast. Everything was clean and the staff very helpful. I am glad I had the chance to visit this place as the interior is quite interesting. At the place they first told me that I had to pay 21,716 pesos (which at a rate of 563 CLP/USD was obviously too much). So I said I wanted to pay in USD. Nevertheless they tried to charge my credit card in pesos - and again 21,716 CLP. As I protested they told me they were not able to charge in USD.
