Edificio Guadalauquen — Hotel in Valdivia

Pro: Modern and clean apartments. Quite central location, although not the best neighborhood.||Con: As a modern building you would expect a degree of sound proofing, which this building absolutely lacks. Situated in a rather sleazy neighborhood with lots of bars and traffic, every even minor sound is heard at high volume in the bedrooms which for what ever reason are 'conveniently' facing the street side.||Sleeping was almost not possible, not as much due to constant music and laughter from the bars right across the street, which is rather sympathetic, but due to show off racer boys honking and revving their turbos throughout te Night between 1 and 4 am to impress chicas right in front of the place, which tends to become a thoroughfare for nightlife motorists.||We had to leave the place after 2 nights and of course there was no partial refund because the staff consisting mainly of underage teenagers has no real competence or knoweledge to do anything, when the owner is not around, so leaving, losing 4 nights but being able to warn others was our best option.||Avoid at any cost, tripadvisor scores misrepresent the overall experience staying...

El servicio de recepción maravilloso, nos subieron las maletas y fue muy grato. El departamento es muy bonito, limpio a la vista y al olfato. Creo que el tema débil es que el único baño esta dentro de una habitación. Nosotros fuimos por trabajo y en esta ocasión éramos dos mujeres, pero muchas veces viajo con compañeros hombre y en ese caso no me hubiera quedado en esa reserva. En si en la noche hay que mantener la puerta abierta para que la otra persona pueda ocupar el baño ingresando a mi habitación. La privacidad es nula y la incomodidad máxima. Por suerte en esta ocasión nos acomodamos bien ambas y pudimos resolver. Podría sugerir incorporar un separador de ambientes desmontable. Las camas son muy cómodas, hay bajadas de piso en cada lado y un closet amplio. La calefacción es central disponible en cada habitación, espacio común y baño. La cocina esta equipada con hervidor, tostadora y loza en general. En este dpto no tienen café o te como suelen dejar otros anfitriones. Rescatar la atención del personal que son muy amables, no tuvimos problema con el check in/out por que nos permitieron guardar nuestras maletas para poder ir a trabajar. El sector hay ruido nocturno de bohemia, soy una persona con sensibilidad sensorial y en general no fue molesto. Fue una buena experiencia, lo recomiendo bastante pero con la advertencia de que si les toca compartir departamento con colegas de distinto género será como compartir un solo ambiente dentro de...
