Pacific Sunset House Beach — Hotel in Viña del Mar

We stayed at Pacific Sunset Beach House in the Vista Bahia during our stay in Vina del Mar. The host was was lovely, and she even provided us with recommendations of places to check out in the area. We picked this location based on the photos and did not realize it is not entirely beachside (our mistake), but is on a slanted road on the side of a hill. To get to the beach, it is approx 3 streets of hills which was a bit annoying when carrying our beach bags, so we just called a quick uber. The hotel itself is very beautiful & clean with spectacular views. To get to our room was a bit of a challenge since we had to climb up stairs from the main road, to the lobby, then again to the second floor (the worst was checking in/out with our luggage). But I cannot fault the hotel, since it's just the reality of staying on a hillside property. The terrace views are...

We stayed both here in Reñaca and the other hotel in Concón. Each brings their own style, but both offer coziness and peace. While we leaned to favor the hotel in Concón more, this hotel offers slightly bigger rooms (we stayed in Horizonte) in its maze layout and proximity to more activity. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk (5 minute drive) to the town center with restaurants and shops. It is also up on a hill and dirt road (for us it added to the charm but may be cumbersome for others), but afforded some nice views of the distant neighboring towns and ocean. Excelente experiencia, hermoso el lugar, comenzando por las vistas desde los distintos ángulos, con amplios ventanales que dan la oportunidad a que el paisaje se integre a la vivencia y continuando con su confort interno: espacios amplios y cómodos, teniendo a mano todo lo que se necesita, limpio el lugar, la ropa de cama...en fin, todo transmite confianza. En el interior de la habitación hay un espacio, que sin ser cocina, se puede preparar algo rápido: tiene pava eléctrica, micro ondas, heladerita, tostadora y vajilla; y también, si son más de dos personas, el interior se puede seccionar permitiendo mantener intimidad. La tranquilidad del alojamiento se acopla a la armonía del panorama. Tanto el estar como la cocina, espacios de compartir, son amplios, cómodos. En la cocina hay de "todo", está por demás equipada para cocinar y compartir en el mismo lugar una buena comida!!! Esta a 5 minutos la playa. La atención de los dueños excelente!!! Y Gabriela muy...
