The morning buffet was fantastic, offering a great variety of dishes, plus the option to have special orders freshly prepared by the staff. The coffee was also excellent, brewed from high-quality beans. The laundry facilities were a bonus—brand-new washers and dryers, free to use, and they even provided complimentary detergent and softeners. I was also impressed by the modern touches, like robots delivering takeout to your room and digital controls for the lights and TV. Despite all the high-tech features, the hotel still had a warm, personal touch. The only minor downside is that it’s a bit further from the main tourist attractions, but the express train to Daxing Airport made getting around easy. I’ll definitely stay here again when I visit Beijing and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others! to have special orders freshly prepared by the staff. Literally had the worst experience of my life from this hotel and I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels. In China, the crystal orange chain is known to be more like motels for business travel (my local friends told me after) which made more sense. After a gruesome overseas flight and arriving at 8pm, we were told we had to wait 20 mins because our room wasn’t ready and was being sanitizer (IT WAS 8PM and we were jet lagged). Then once it was finally done, we walked up to the room and found a family were in our room and not wanting to leave (they were given that room at first, but they wanted to change, but weren’t happy with another room so they wanted the original room back). I’m not even sure if service is overdoing it by allowing people to check out rooms to see if they want it. Anyways, there was a ruckus so we let them have the room, and apparently there isn’t another twin bed room available so we were given the room they didn’t want. Room was definitely not the most hygienic, and the shower curtains also didn’t close properly. Service didn’t seem like they know what they were doing. They compensated me by giving free breakfast and partial refund but honestly I would never come back again and would never recommend this chain. Location was ok as it was close to the metro. The only positive was their free laundry room which was arguably the nicest room lol. Breakfast was mediocre too.

We had a great stay with Crystal Orange Chongwenmen, Beijing. The location is very good, near to subway station. It's a short bicycle ride to Qianmen Street. The room new and spacious. They have free self-service laundry and you can even see the availability of the washing machines and dryers and progress your washing, from your room TV! The young men and ladies at the front desk are extremely helpful and very responsive. They offered us free room upgrade. While waiting for our room to be ready, they gave us warm mineral water and fruits. When I was trying to use the Chinese shopping app Taobao, to do some online shopping, and encountered some problems, they patiently guide me step by step. They also helped me search for the many delivery items I ordered to be sent to the hotel, and make a few phone call to track and change my orders. Very excellent front desk team. Two thumbs up for these young men and ladies. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Beijing next time! Highly recommended!

the serenity and tranquility calmed all my frustration trying to find this hotel, look for the odd looking building across from the metro station, exit A and look for the little driveway.... it's a absolute hidden gem. as soon as I got to my room overlooking the courtyard, I booked an extra night without question. the layout of the room is so comfortable. everything is electronic, temperature, curtains and doors. if you are an introvert and want to order food, the robot will bring it up for you, contactless. The location is close enough to everything but just far enough you don't hear the traffic except for staff working on the building or deliveries in the morning. the front desk was helpful with my first delivery order and knew exactly what I was looking for in regards to sightseeing. there is a bit of a language barrier with technology today (alipay translation, wechat and baidu translation) everything worked out with some creativity. all part of the adventure anyways. there is a self service laundry room which is super convenient, it is a commercial unit so no need for detergent but they do have it available in case you have a stain. breakfast is a mix of western and Chinese but I am a vegetarian so my breakfast choices is limited but they do have a full on noodles bar. two item to consider: 1) my shower flooded every night I was here and the staff cleaned it up when I called, the hot water is consistent and welcomed after each long day of walking. 2) your door will randomly start beeping in the middle of the night and it is Becuase the door is not closed properly (automatic), I just put the coffee table against it instead of calling the front desk at 4am in the morning. overall, I loved my visit (the decor, the privacy and friendliness of the staff) and I...

Air-conditioning is the first reason we picked this hotel! We heard and read a lot of reviews mentioning that many hotels in Beijing and Shanghai haven't normally operated the cooling air-conditioning at night (or maybe during the daytime as well) even some day it's over 25c. (Only fan provided upon request at some hotel.) Another reason is that the hotel just did the big renovation, so guestrooms with bigger room size and without carpet couldn't be better! :D However, the room we got upgraded is a Deluxe room on the 1st floor where is connected to hotel lobby, guest toilet, and main entrance for all guests to pass by. Also, it's connected to an outdoor garden including smoking area. Even the request for a non-smoking room placed but couldn't help at this stage. Location: 4.5 (3-5mins from Ciqikou station cross the street or 5-8mins to Chongwenmen station) *For main entrance, pls notice the building wrapped with orange sticker.Room: 4.5 (Spacious, smart room with new modern design, great water pressure)Cleanliness: 5Amenities: 4 (4 bottles of drinking water daily, tea & coffee plus small biscuits. No toothbrush, shower cap, comb, shaving kit)Buffet Breakfast: 4.5 (Cover all basic lines; Chinese, small Western corner (with no choice for egg)Staff: 3.85 (Some tried to help out but some not. We checked-in pretty late ard 6pm but said the room wasn't ready. That could probably be the reason why we got the room upgraded. Google translation app needed)Surrounding: 3.5 (a bakery shop in front of the hotel, some of chain restaurants/bakery shops in a building opposite the hotel. A few big dept stores, restaurants, coffee shops can be found around...
