Bianyifang — Restaurant in Beijing

This review is for the location inside of Glory Mall on 3F which is across the street from this marked location on Google maps. Take Line 5 there to Chongwenmen exit G to come out right in front of the entrance to the mall. It's right up the escalator that skips from the ground level to 3F, and it's next to Bellagio. We got the duck of course and it's pretty great here, especially for the price. The skin is nice and crispy but also very fatty which melts in your mouth! We also got several other dishes which were all decent. We ended up spending 262 RMB (about 40 USD) for 2 people, and we were completely stuffed at the end. Terrible. The food is not freshly made. The food that is supposed to be hot is only lukewarm. Each dish is dull, and clearly not well taken care of. Compared with the price, the quality is worse than the average in a shopping mall. We even found a hair in our noodles. The first photo is misleading! This restaurant is in a big building on the 4th floor as the only restaurant there, not the original ancient one. To add to my earlier post, I mentioned it was in the Glory Mall which is at 18 Chongwenmen Outer St, ChongWenMen, Dongcheng Qu, China, 100062. It may be on the 2nd or 3rd fl. it seem like there are different sections so the third floor that you are on may be a different section from where the restaurant is.
