Absolutely Wonderful Hotel, This is one of the best hotels I ever visited. I have visited many other hotels before but nothing can or will beat this hotel. Instead of a traditional hotel, the rooms are divided into alleys where you will see many cats at any time. When you arrive, they will greet you and give you an option to drink. After you finish drinking, they will guide you to your rooms with a golf cart. When you arrive at your room, there is a splendid range of Chinese snacks waiting for you. You can call them anytime. The breakfast buffet was filled with many different kinds of food from international cuisines to national cuisines. You should really go eat breakfast rather than stay sleeping. It is an experience you will not forget. For me, I did not go to the lunch or dinner from the hotel but used the nearby Chinatown (it’s kind of like a Chinatown in China) with many different Chinese snacks and meals. The rooms are really clean and wide. You also have a garden outside that you can spend your time reading. If you feel bored, you should take a walk outside and marvel at the great shops outside. I spent three nights here and really enjoyed it. I hope you enjoy it too :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, and the service truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, Josalyn’s attentiveness and genuine care made me feel warmly welcomed. She was thoughtful in every detail, ensuring I had everything I needed. Lucien and Karlie were also incredibly considerate, providing attentive support throughout my stay. Sophia at the Chinese restaurant went above and beyond to make my dining experience memorable, taking the time to explain each dish and share thoughtful recommendations. Each morning, Holly and Kiki greeted me warmly at breakfast, setting a positive tone for the day. The bar staff provided excellent service as well, making my evenings relaxing with their friendly and professional care. Additionally, the concierge team was exceptional, supporting me through every step of my stay and ensuring all my needs were met effortlessly. The entire team’s dedication and attention to detail made my experience unforgettable. Highly recommend the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen for anyone seeking refined hospitality and genuine warmth.

This hotel is truly luxurious and offers a very high standard of comfort. The staff stand out for their kindness and willingness to help, and many of them speak English, which makes things easier. That said, getting around outside the hotel can still be difficult without at least some ability to understand or speak Mandarin. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, with modern bathrooms and showers. The property itself is very large and spread out, which can make it a bit challenging to walk between the different buildings since they’re quite far apart. One of the highlights is the afternoon tea. The presentation is beautiful, and the refills are unlimited, although the snacks are on the expensive side. Breakfast has recently changed from a buffet to an order-based service, but it’s excellent—the quality of the food and the level of service are truly impressive. I would recommend going early in the morning, as the staff are able to give you more personal attention before the dining area gets busy.

Words cannot describe how incredible this place is. We were choosing between the MO Wangfujing, Aman Summer palace or here and we are SO unbelievably happy that we chose to come to the Quianmen. We were absolutely blown away by the beauty of the hotel and the standard of service from start to finish. ||The hotel is located within a traditional Houtong and blends seamlessly with the local area. There is a main building housing a reception, Tiao bar, a lounge and the joining spa. But the other restaurants and the ‘rooms’ are separate buildings within the original Hutong which have been impeccably restored to create luxury living spaces. ||We had room 8-7 which was building 7 in alley 8 of the hutong. It had only been completed 10 days previously so we were some of the first to stay there. The building was shaped like a square around a small courtyard with a bathroom, bedroom, living room and office space on each of the 4 sides. There was also a small patio area to sit outside. The rooms were appointed to an exceptionally high standard and the amenities were wonderful, including a personal wash bag, nightly treats and gifts as well as everything else you’d expect from a 5* hotel. The minibar had free soft drinks, beer and wine as well as chocolate. ||Breakfast was included and was so lovely. You can even order breakfast in your room via WeChat at no extra cost. Or you can eat on the outside balcony of vicini overlooking the hutong rooftops. ||We spent time in the spa, Tiao bar and also ate at Vicini one evening which was some of the best Italian food we have ever eaten (and we’ve just come back from Tuscany!) ||The service in the whole hotel was unbelievable. We can’t think of anywhere we have stayed that has been better. Vicky our butler was AMAZING. She was on-hand for every little thing & always knew our plans so she could help us with directions, advice about tickets & reservations. We communicated with|WeChat and we always felt like she would be available to help us out if we ever needed it while sightseeing. Her thoughtful notes and gifts in our room every night were so uplifting and lovely. ||Also thank you so much to Akim who helped us with sightseeing tickets, Didi orders and managed to get us last minute reservations at duck de chine for some fab peking duck. ||To be honest every single member of staff from the reception, bar staff, concierge staff and cleaning staff all deserve huge praise. Every single person helped to make our stay so wonderful. ||The MO have done something very special with this hotel. If you are lucky enough to have the chance to stay here, don’t hesitate. It will be the experience...

Mandarin Oriental Qianman, Beijing is fabulous and unique hotel in the city center. The hotel design maintains traditional courtyard style reflecting the heritage of Beijing. |42 Individual private courtyard rooms scattered around HuTong area , harmoniously bland in with surrounding neighborhoods and experience the local people’s daily life. Location is fantastic and very convenient to major attractions, sightseeing and shopping. ||I especially like our courtyard which is spacious, high ceilings with beautiful wooden beam ; elegant decor, soft color palette and modern comfort, Quiet Luxury. After sightseeing and shopping in Qianman cultural commercial streets, here is my urban oasis. Checked in the day right on the occasion hotel celebrating its one year anniversary. We certainly shared the joy with hotel staff. ||The restaurant Yan Garden By Chef Fei on site is fabulous. Fine cuisine with Michelin starred Chef Fei overseeing and the whole team’s tremendous operating efforts, it delivered the gastronomic feast with seamless services. We dinning there twice, enjoyed immensely. ||The spa is very tranquil. Our treatments were very well performed and relaxed our tired body. Thanks for our therapist. ||Tiao, the trendy cocktail lounge, vibrant, sophisticated . The cocktail menu is not a simple list, but a very beautifully curated literature and poem revealed the history and conveyed rich heritage of each alley that hotel located. Each one has character and story behind, which inspired the young team created the special cocktail menu. Bravo! Delicious! Very impressive. ||We had amazing time here. We are very grateful for the whole team endless effort to ensure our stay is perfect. We also greatly appreciate the Mandarin Oriental Qianman cooperation with local governments preserve the Beijing culture heritage and rejuvenate the long life of historical district, creating an extraordinary unban oasis for long...

We had the most wonderful family stay at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing under their “Fun-Filled Family Moments” package. From the moment we arrived, the reception team was incredibly welcoming and friendly, especially with our child—they made us feel right at home.||What we really loved about this hotel is how every staff member remembered our names and schedule. Each time we passed by, they greeted us with such genuine warmth and bright smiles. It made us feel truly cared for and valued throughout our stay.||The activities were amazing! Our child loved the personal training class just for kids, and the Hutong Treasure Hunt was a big highlight. Our wonderful butler Karlie made it extra special—she was warm, attentive, and full of energy, always ensuring our child was having fun while sharing interesting stories about the local culture. Karlie’s thoughtful hospitality really made our experience unforgettable.||We also joined the pizza-making class at VICINI with Chef Eddie, who was patient and engaging, and the handicraft workshop with Matt and Jerry, who were both so kind and creative with kids.||Everything was perfectly organized, and the attention to detail was impressive. Our family had an amazing time, and we can’t thank the team enough—especially Karlie—for making our stay so personal and memorable. We’ll definitely come back for more fun-filled...
