This is a very nice hotel, but has hit the edge of skimping to survive. That being said, its price makes it attractive. The quality of the front end staff is poor, with a few exceptions. The housekeeping staff and workers were very polite, however most of the greeting staff seemed indifferent to antagonistic. Not just to me as a foreigner but every interaction i witnessed. I only encountered one English speaking manager and all others would not engage, but instead coldly point, despite my speaking Chinese (albeit not well). The rooms are HUGE and despite the presence of an ashtray in my no smoking room, my room did not smell like smoke. The pool is quite large, but the hot tub was disappointingly not hot and the same temp as the pool. Good shower pressure. There is food shops and banks within walking distance. I was happy to find a print shop on the corner across from the hotel to make copies. That made the negative experience at the hotel a little petter as I paid ¥20 to get a copy of my passport bioPage and my fiancée ID card in black and white. The pictures were not in visible. Do yourself a favor just walk across the street to the print shop. It was on ¥5 to get the two copies front and back and in color. . I was disappointed in their lack of knowledge of the area when looking for a bank close by as well. Parking was a little confusing when we first got out in the underground parking location.
