We stayed for five days at this hotel, and we found it very nice indeed. The receptionists can fairly speak English, so we can communicate, abd vrry friendly and helpful.
The room is spacious and clean, breakfast is good to start the day (although options are limited to Nutrition, Light, and American), lots of electrical outlets so you can charge your devices without worry, and you can pay the hotel with international credit cards 🎉🎊 (which is not the case for other hotels or places in China, whereby they mainly accept payments through UnionPay, WeChatPay and AliPay)....
Two main things that you need to be aware of:
There is no elevator at the premise. So those with heavy luggages may find it struggling to bring the heavy luggages up to the room floor;
Walking distance from the premise to the nearest Subway station is quite a distance... it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to get there. If you bring little kids, you should consider the walking distance, which is not quite handy.
Other than that, Happy Dragon City Culture Hotel is highly recommended for travellers going to Beijing....

Tucked in the Shijia Hu Tong, the hotel is a 2min walk from Chaoyangmen Street.|We had the double bedroom which was nice and cozy, spacious beds, a nice little fridge, great wifi and fantastic power shower.|Every single member of the staff is very friendly and extremely helpful, from advices on how to get to the Great Wall of China to activate my WeChat, Candice, Zoey, Maya and the rest of the team went above and beyond! They really makes us feel welcomed and they made our stay memorable!|There is a nice breakfast/dining space with free coffee and water - and the coffee is really nice too! They also have regular activities in there so even if you travel solo it seems to be a great spot to socialise and meet people.|I loved staying in a Hu Tong, experiencing and seeing the daily life of the neighbours and having interactions with them was great.|Loads of nice restaurants on the main road (Chaoyangmen) and a convenient 7 Eleven and also a short walk from the vibrant Dong Dan.|I will definitely be staying here again on my next...
