The building stands tall, looking grand from far. Very modern looking hotel with a touch of local cultures depicted in the decoration. The room is nice and spacious. Looks very exclusive. Overall appearance and comfort, excellent. ||||Location-wised , very good. I walked to Wangfujing street . take about 20 minutes. If you walk along the hotel street, You would see fruit stores, bank, hospital, restaurants, shops. But it is not aim for tourist. So I couldnt find any shop selling souveniors. ||||For Muslims, there is a halal 24 hours restaurant nearby, 3-5 minutes walk. easy peasy. ||||The front desk, despite not able to speak English, is very helpful. They booked The great Wall tickets for my family (no tips or extra money needed, just pay them the exact ticket price). They also called a metered taxi for me. ||||I was absolutely thankful that they let me check-in early. around 9am, I was already inside my room=)||||Cons||1. There's like only 1 person at the front desk who speaks English. His name is Alex. But fret not, they can use translator to communicate with you. You can also use your own translator apps. Very handy||||2. Room service did the bare minimum. I stayed for 5 nights. I hope they changed my bath towels and gave me a clean one because the other medium and small towels were not changed. I left it wet, hanging on the wall. It was exactly the same when I came back to my room. Bedsheet definitely not changed. For bathrobe, they dont even bother to hang it. Just fold and left on bed. They replace partially the drinks because on some days, I dont have the coffee sachet. They never replaced laundry bag. Luckily, they never missed replacing toiletries.||||3. To access the elevator and to power the room, you need the room card. But they only gave me one. It gets complicated when we need to separate from one another. So you can actually request for 2 room cards when checking-in. Make life easier=)||||4. I requested for adjoining rooms but they couldnt provide it. BUT at least my rooms were on...

Read moreAs previous reviews already pointed out it´s a good idea to bring a translator app, because if you don't speak chines it could be a a little difficult to communicate. ||Although all of the staff didn't speak english, some of the staff did. And for those who didn't they used an translator app to communicate so it all works out in the end anyway.||||We arrived early in the morning at around 8am, although check-in wasn't until 12, the hotel arranged a room for us on the spot, great service there. ||A spacious room with a nice bathroom all in tiles. Clean and tidy. Comfortable beds. ||We stayed on the 9th floor with a great view over the Beijing skyline. ||The wifi connection was great, but keep in mind that China has blocked Google with affiliates and Netflix etc etc, so the internet for westerners might be kind of useless.||||Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was interesting to say the least.||It was an all out Asian breakfast, no western style what so ever. But hey, when in Rome right? You could find something every morning that was good. ||One funny thing was that the breakfast was served in the Tea lounge, but they didn't serve tea, and upon request they just said "no tea", alright coffee will do then;) ||||We didn't use any of the services provided like spa treatments or booking trips etc. but the hotel provided different kind of half/whole day trips. ||||The location was ok, It's located on street with all kinds of smaller convenience stores, it's about 5-10 min away from nearest subway station, so pretty easy access to everything from there. Walking distance to the forbidden city. ||||We had a great stay, if you are searching for a hotel with great english speaking skills Beijing might...
