Like many Beijing hotels this hotel has an INSANE policy where if you do not check in before 6pm or let the hotel know you are late, they will give your room away and cancel your booking. ||What do you do when your flight is delayed, which is what happened to us? We contacted the hotel via email through the website we booked through in the early morning as soon as we knew of a delay, we even got an automated response to say our message had been received. ||We finally arrived at 1:30am to meet the rudest night receptionist I have ever encountered. She didn't speak English (as claimed by the hotel) and used google translate to tell us our room was booked out and our booking had been cancelled. Then accused us of not contacting them, when I tried to show her the email, she said they didn't receive it. ||She was cold and indifferent, when I asked her what we're meant to do, she said there are 99 hotels in the area, go and look. She didn't apologise and tried to pretend we weren't there until we left as the security guard then stood up and we didn't want any trouble. We were not threatening or abusive, just distressed and very tired.||So I didn't get to stay in the hotel because we were turned out onto the streets at 2am, in an area by the way that really is not safe, lots of homeless and randoms. Most hotels were also full or cannot accept foreigners (due to licenses). ||||Thank you JinJiang hotel for ruining our visit to Beijing and giving a poor impression of China. I have never felt more unsafe or unwelcome...
Read moreLocation is superb; though right at the end of WangfuJing. Crowne plaza hotel is next to it. Apple store is just 5mins walk away! 711 is at the same block of building. Exterior of hotel does not look like much but hey it’s Beijing for the price it’s good enough
Stayed a total of almost 5 days in this hotel, staff are utterly friendly & help to assist in anyway they can. If u want a better nicer room go for the queen room instead of the business room. Business is room is really basic and crampy, go for the queen room is the standard of 3-4 stars hotel. Wi-Fi did not work in my room & they are quick to offer a change of room.
Hotel is pretty secure too! Inside the lift; room access card would only work to access the floor level ur room is at. And WaiMai food delivery dudes are not allowed to go upstairs; u can only collect ur food downstairs
I would definitely stay in this hotel if I ever visit Beijing again in the future. Keep up the good work. Oh one more tip! The famous Peking duck Siji Minfu is also just 5mins walk away. Go early b4 they open at 11am to beat the crazy queue in...
Read moreHotel in Beijing are expensive, so for about ¥400/room/night and in a good and convenient location was the best choice in Beijing. Both our room were not big but enough space for us to unpacked and move around, room were also clean and housekeeping were very good. Bed and pillow were very comfortable as in all Jingjiang Inn. The only thing missing was a refrigerator but with a convenient store few steps away and lot of food options, not a problem if you need a bite or drink anytime. 2 subway lines with station at about 15 - 25 minutes walk and the best transport option when moving around Beijing as traffic was worst. Wangfujing walking street just around the corner, Forbidden Palace, Tiananmen Square and some other famous attraction about 40 minutes walk or a short taxi ride. So if your in Beijing and need a simple but good hotel in a good location, this is highly recommended and remember to...
