So happy I booked this hotel. The location was perfect, close to tourist stuff, close to a couple of subway lines, and buses, and the area was quiet and felt very safe. The staff was wonderful, particularly our maid,罗丽华. She helped me to use the coffee machine, which made amazing coffee by the way, and she made sure we had plenty of water for our time in Beijing, as it was very hot there at the time of our visit! The room was fantastic, extremely comfortable beds, very clean, pristine, even. Amazing shower, with a raindrop shower head. The soaps and hair care products were great quality, and even the towels were perfect! ||The pool and gym were also top notch. I honestly never wanted to leave, this place was so great. The pool was clean, beautiful, had life guards, and was a comfortable temperature. There are also some large hot tubs to enjoy as well, soooo relaxing. But do note, a swimming cap is required to go into the pool. This is common around China, particularly in the finer hotels. Don’t think of it as a negative, though. It’s a sign of good sanitation. When you are finished, they have a wonderfully equipped locker room, with sauna, showers, hairdryers, etc. They even have a machine to spin your bathing suit after you are done swimming!! They really thought of everything at this place!||Other things to take note of: if you do not have breakfast included, don’t worry, there are tons of great places to get food nearby. We walked out of the hotel, turned right, and walked about 100 meters, and found an awesome Chinese breakfast place with all you can eat for ¥15. ||This place was quite honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed! I can’t imagine giving this place a bad review! This place would be 3X the cost if it were anywhere else. I thought it was absolutely brilliant, with great value for money! I will 100% stay here again the next time I’m...
Read moreKuntai Royal is a tidy hotel located very close to city center. The best thing about this hotel is its location. There are several restaurants, malls and shops at a walking ditance from the hotel. Russian market is located very close to the hotel, which is nice and economical place. U town mall.is also close by, where many branded shops are available. The hotel is 16 storied. Rooms are nice spacious and tidy. Room service is good and efficient. Most of the rooms have nice views. Breakfast has lots of variety and is very good. There are meeting rooms and party hall available for parties at night. Rooms have tv, locker, iron, coffee maker, electric kettle and hair dryer. Toiletries are replanished daily. Toilets are bit small but cleanliness is good. Laundry service is available in hotel, which is bit costly. At times the staff insist to pay for laundry service in cash, rather than including it in room bill. Swimming pool is good and mostly not crowded. Hotel staff is nice and help. Overall a very nice experience to stay...
Read moreThe hotel itself is nice and classy, even though a bit old-fashioned. The food is excellent and versatile, both breakfast and dinner. But the service was not very welcoming. We had other hotels and even tiny Homestays elsewhere on our trip that were so much nicer. Especially with kids, even older and very well-behaved ones, they were unwelcoming and sometimes even unfriendly. As if they did not trust them (or the parents?) that kids were indeed capable of behaving, getting their own drink for breakfast or something from the room when being sent upstairs alone. Our school child was closely monitored for every step and even whistled away at the pool for no reason. Her pre-ordered bed was not ready upon check-in and only offered at very high extra costs (the extra bed was free in all other hotels). It is sad that one does not feel very welcome as a family here and even the politest, quietest kids don't experience...
