This park provides a temporary reprieve from the bustling streets.of Beijing. It is free to enter, and there are plenty of scenic spots to take a selfish or to just sit and take in the sounds of the birds in the trees. There is a decent sized playground for children, but my children found the platform path (think super Mario platform game type of path) around the lake to be much more entertaining! Also there are a couple of hills that provide a nice view of the city skyline. Finally, there are several trees that are over a century old, with one tree that is over a millennium old!
