Service at the reception at the counter was excellent. I had no issues in getting help to book a Didi or during check in and out of the hotel. Hotel is new, loved the ID work. Had a really good stay, bed was excellent too and had a good 3 days 2 nights. 1. Buffet Breakfast - good local offerings, love it. 2. Laundry on 3rd flr - as it was a long trip for us - 14 days - we went through quite a number. My thoughts - please provide a table or space to fold the laundry. Please do provide a rubbish bin, someone left some there but I realize, it is because there is no bin to dispose of rubbish.3. Co-sharing work space at the lobby, please provide sign that users are to throw their own rubbish to the bin. We had to clear them even though the bin was right there.4. Location - slightly a bit off and when calling Didi, 2 of them got confused as there is another hotel just next door. As Park Inn is hidden and they need to go through a car barrier, so they waited for us outside. A signage may help that they can drive through the barrier. Guangzhou Railway Station and the Subway Line is about 10 mins walk and the wholesalers for clothes are within walking distance. Just take the underground pass located in front of the Railway or Metro Station to get across to the shopping areas. Also since we booked the Deluxe Room, our rooms are facing the railway lines, if you are sensitive to noise, please do take that into consideration. For our group, we slept through, as we were at the tail end of our trip and could sleep through anything at that point of time. Moreover, you need to open the window to air the room during colder months as only hot air is provided from...
Read moreBREACH OF PRIVACY!!!! PLEASE READ FULL STORY. If you are a FOREIGNER, please avoid this hotel. It has been 2 years since i have been staying in 4-5 star hotels in China because of the Nature of my Business. After 10 Days of Canton Fair and Factory Visiting. We needed to take 1 day of rest so we spent 150USD booked PARK INN Radisson on12th Nov 24 Just 1 day before our international flight home. After Breakfast we went to our room to rest. We put the "Do Not Disturb" SIGN ON. Still the Housekeeping kept knocking our door again and again. Then around 10 am The POLICE banged our door. We were terrified. THEY ASKED for OUR PASSPORTs to check our visas like we were some illegal immigrants. Being HARRASSED in a RADISSON Hotel was the last thing i expected. Later when i confronted the Front Desk staff Huang Jiaqi and Cao Qingmao on the POLICE asking for our Passports even though we submitted it upon check-in. They said they send Police everyday to do Routine check up on Foreigners in this "RADISSON 5 STAR HOTEL". I asked 2-3 foreign guests from (GEORGIA and USA) IF THE SAME happened with them and that morning. They said NO. Ultimately we came to the conclusion that the Front Staff sends POLICE to the rooms of FOREIGNERs of COLOR, Disturbs them not caring about the DO NOT DISTURB Policy. And when we actually asked for Room cleaning they never sent anyone to clean the room. They gave us a shitty kitchen FOOD-cart to TOW our lugguage and told us to do it yourself. Rude Staff This was the first time Worst experience in a RADISSON HOTEL rather in a Chinese Hotel .Sorry but i m Never...
Read moreThis hotel gets the job done. A lot of expats were staying at this particular hotel. I think that is because it quite literally is right by all of the major manufacturing malls/where people go to try and find suppliers for whatever products they are trying to buy and sell. This hotel is convenient because it was right on a metro stop, and also right next to a major train station so if you wanted to go to other cities quickly, you could. Cons, besides being close to those few things it wasn’t centrally located and there was literally no food around to walk to and pick up. The closest food home we’re still about a 15 minute walk away. another con, when I arrived at check in very early in the morning, around 4 AM the front desk man was asleep and had a very nasty attitude with me. However, it was made up with every other employee I met during my stay. The women employees were all very nice.If you order Taobao there is a designated room for it right outside the hotel, which was nice to just go in and pick up my package. However, be aware because anyone can access it, some packages might go missing or someone might pick up yours by mistake. My last issue is with smoking. Smoking is allowed in the building, and although I requested a non-smoking room, I could still smell the smoke from the hallway from other guest. Super unpleasant and I wish all hotels would just ban all smoking in the rooms, but besides that the room was clean, The AC worked great, I could not hear my neighbors, and the overall room was neat clean and...
