Terrible three-star hotel, I will not come back to this hotel in my life time. I choose the room with an upgraded package to a luxurious room. However, when I check in the hotel, the first impression was that the carpet is dirty, smoking smell all around the hotel and in the guest room. I requested to swap to another room but the second room was still terrible but the window was open so some fresh air helps a bit. However, when I turn on the air conditioning, the smoke smell comes back immediately and I have no choice to open the window all night long but the train sounds were loud and annoying. In the bathroom, the bath towel was dirty & dark, shower leakage to the floor after the shower with water everywhere. The next day, I hang the "please tidy up the room" sign and then went out to have breakfast at 9:00 am but when I got back to the room at 11:00 am, there were still no housekeeping. At 1:00 pm when I go out to shopping & lunch, I hang the "Tidy up the room" sign again, but still, there is no housekeeping at 15:00 pm. Children were tired and there is no towel for shower, no refresh bottle water. I complaints many times and there was housekeeping outside the door at 17:00. That night, children accidentally shed nosebleeds and make the bed sheet a little bit dirty size as two one coins. The terrible Front office Manager, Guo was ridiculous to request to charge $200 for the cleaning fee which is unacceptable. I refused to pay and would like to let you all know that the hotel would charge anything that they like to charge. This is definitely unhappy and terrible experience...
Read moreGuangzhou has done a lot to clean up its reputation however, it still is not a great place for the single traveller and this hotel does little to convince me otherwise.||On arrival, first appearance looks good, usual type of thing at large Chinese hotel, once you arrive at the counter for check-in, it starts to go down hill. Little or no English. pointed in general direction of room. I stayed on 7th floor, on arrival at 7th floor had t go outside and crossed a sort of bridge to arrive at my room, room was cold, no shower only an old looking bath that could to with replacing, windows looked like they needed a really good clean as did the nets and curtains, floor was filthy and the room lighting poor. Hotel was very noisy with many what appeared to be guests of weddings etc.||Safe not bolted down.||I felt like I needed to sit up all night holding my door handle, terrible nights sleep.||I actually felt safer out side of Hotel than in it.||Mini bar consisted of a huge choice of sex toys and condoms plus a choice of 4 spirits as single shot minis.||Breakfast was terribly slow and tables were never cleaned.||on a plus point, I only had to stay for two nights, the on site shop was ok, close to train station and local...
Read moreThe use in the building is not only for hotel purpose, the building included companies' offices, residentials, and hotel rooms. The restaurant for serving breakfast on 1/F almost without air-conditioning, it's very hot when having breakfast. I check-in at around 4:00pm, but the reception said the room was not ready, they still need time to clean up and asked me to wait for 1-2 hour. 4-5 staffs serving 1 booking at the front desk, be careful and watch out your passport cause too much staffs there, and sometimes they forgot who took your passport for scanning. Even requested and arranged non-smoking room, the room smell like cigarette odor and smell badly! The hotel room was dirty! Back to the hotel room after having breakfast on 1/F, all drawers being opened by the staff. They checked the room much before the check-out time! ||Only advantage: Near to Metro Station, Guangzhou East Railway. ||If only stay for a night, it's okay because of...
