Guilin Zizhou Panorama Resort — Hotel in Guilin

It s my first time visiting Guilin & Yangshuo. I had a pleasant stay with Guilin Zizhou Panorama Hotel! The team was polite, attentive and efficient. The staff was very patient with my far from fluent Mandarin. ||Thanks to the previous review about the accessibility of the hotel. I am aware that the hotel is located inside a park and buggy ride is provided free of charge 24/7. Therefore, I had the phone number of the hotel handy and called the front desk for pick-up at the entrance of the Park upon arrival. It took me less than 3 minutes' wait. ||Breakfast was simple but served with what I like, such as toast, cook to order eggs & Guilin vermicelli in soup, plain congee, and hot tea. Can you imagine having fried egg sunny side up on toast and hot tea at a dining table facing the garden on an one fine day? Lovely isnt it? ||If I have to think of area for improvement in the hotel, it might be good to have towel hangers inside the room, and a short brief on how the lights/ switches working in the room. ||I had dinner in the new Guilin Mixc mall by China Resources which is 15 minutes' taxi ride (at about RMB 17) from the hotel. Lots of clean, affordable and interesting food and beverage outlets over there. The Korean restaurant beside the cinema and Chinese pastry shop 瀘溪河 next to Walmart are the best picks of the trip. Also, I found the photo opportunities at the mall heart enlightening.||River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo was a highlight of my trip. It s about 40 mins by tour bus from hotel to the pier, and 4.5 hours sail to Yangshuo. I booked a 4-star vessel 駿達2. The ticket price included lunch in buffet style. Beautiful place, excellent service. Please just take note that the access is a little be complicated because you depend on the mini golf car from the resort and outside the park, but, you just need to plan if you want to be inside a private park just for you, breathing pure air, in the middle of nature… I mean, this is the price you pay… It helps if you have a cellular phone in China to call every time you need the car service. The rooms are perfect, quiet and clean. The restaurant and the breakfast are perfect and varied. They also speak in English. ||They have a tour service information to help you. I buy there the cruise service to Yangshuo and it was great! Or they have other options to know the surroundings. There is a small pool (jacuzzi) to relax, it could be perfect for families with small kids because they can run in the park and see the nature.||Once you are outside the park it is easy to walk to the center of Guilin (the Sun and Moon Pagoda is about 20 minutes by foot) and like other parts of China it...

This is a truly special place!Located in the middle of a park the hotel feels like it is in a rain forest. Staff is super helpful and friendly and they would always happy to shuttle you between hotel and park entrance with a golf cart. We however preferred walking and enjoying the tranquility. There was a Chinese lantern festival on and we were lucky to experience the dry run without any other people around 🤩The property and rooms are mega charming.
