Hotel Ibis Harbin Sofia Church — Hotel in Harbin

Worst ibis in this world. I've been to mamy countries, this is a real suck hotel. Relatively small room like living in a rabbit hole with cigarette smell on the carpet and curtain. No 24-hours bar available as it stated. Staff can speak very limited English. The wall isn't soundproof you can here Chinese family discussing or blaming their children.

The guy staff in breakfast room is lack of service mimd,rough plus the BF is further worse. No meat provided only limited basic selection for vegetarian and do-it-yourself egg memu. So i suggest you guys to eat outside there has a food court and luxury shopping mall on the next door.

Wifi signal wasn't consistant too. A tour to Harbin Ice Festival also take us to the guide who can't speak English. The foreigner tourist and me need to wander the festival on ourself.

If you wanna get taxi to the airport, exit the hotel and walk down to the downtown road. Otherwise you'll get ripped of, paying double with sleepy driver who almost killed us on the road accident.

Never going back to ibis...

Mercure Harbin Sofia Church The hotel is located in commercial building which contains luxury mall and supermarket, near Zhongyang pediastrian street which is a tourist center. It's also near Songhua river and bus stop bounding for Ice Snow World. The Hotel was rebranded from Ibis to Mercure and was well renovated. Appliances in guest room are modern and useful. They provide many free services such as mini bar, unlimited bottled drinking water, laundry, gym. Breakfast is 48 RMB per person and It's reasonably good.

The only downside is poor room cleaning service. I found dust and someone's hairs are...

I think this hotel sucks! I've stayed in cheaper places with better service in China. I have to give a 100 Yuan deposit just for a plug to charge my laptop and my phone. 24 hour bar is a lie because it's closed as I am writing this. I have to walk very far just to get something to eat and the bed is uncomfortable. Staff don't speak English either. If you're a foreigner, find another hotel. I will never...
