Regala Skycity Hotel: A Hidden Gem of Comfort and Convenience**
My stay at Regala Skycity Hotel was nothing short of exceptional! I was initially drawn to the hotel due to its prime location, being so close to Hong Kong International Airport and major attractions like Hong Kong Disneyland, the Monopoly Dreams exhibit, and The Peak. This hotel is a perfect choice for travelers who want both convenience and comfort.
Rooms & Amenities: Comfort at Its Best
The room I stayed in was exquisite—well-sized, modern, and equipped with everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. From the plush bed to the immaculate bathroom stocked with premium toiletries, it was clear that the hotel paid close attention to detail. I was able to book my room for an unbelievable price—under $50 a night! The value for what I received was amazing.
I was particularly impressed with the modern amenities—there was an automatic pancake maker at breakfast, which was such a fun addition. Watching my pancakes be made automatically was a highlight, adding a bit of joy to my morning. The breakfast wasn’t included in my stay, but for the variety and quality of food available, it was well worth it.
Exceptional Service
The staff at Regala Skycity were incredibly accommodating and kind. I forgot my jacket in my room after checkout and when I went back to retrieve it, they returned it to me promptly without any hassle. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and efficient. Their dedication to customer service really stood out, making my stay even more memorable.
Convenient Location & Easy Accessibility
What makes Regala Skycity so perfect is its easy accessibility to so many attractions. It’s connected to the AsiaWorld-Expo and 11 Skies, a major leisure and shopping complex. Getting to Hong Kong Disneyland was a breeze, and I was able to explore delicious restaurants and exciting spots within minutes of the hotel. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport, which made my arrival and departure stress-free.
Beautiful Hotel Design
The hotel’s sleek and modern design adds to its charm. The clean, minimalist look, with open spaces and calming neutral tones, made for a serene environment. With fitness facilities, a rooftop terrace, and an outdoor swimming pool, there are plenty of options to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Hong Kong.
Final Thoughts
Whether you’re here for a layover or an extended stay, Regala Skycity Hotel offers everything you could want—fantastic service, clean and comfortable rooms, and a location that keeps you connected to Hong Kong’s top attractions. I couldn’t recommend it more! I can’t wait to return and experience the comfort and hospitality...
Read moreI have many good things to say about this hotel. The short version is here. It is not about luxury, but the wonderful experience for the customer.
My first time here was in Feb 2024 for 3 nights. My room was small, typical HK size. I opted for the cheapest room with two single beds, therefore I couldn't expect too roomy. Just enough space for a full size luggage and 2 carry-ons to lay flat on the floor. The first impression of my room was, super clean, no stinky cigarette smell nor any odor from humidity. Linen was white and fresh, of high quality. Washroom also very clean and dry. Later I found out the hotel was just about 1 year new, and the entire hotel is smoke-free. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was impressive, offered lots of quality western and oriental dishes and drinks. I didn't count, but easily over 100 varieties. Add the breakfast option when reserving a room is a super deal, only HKD $125 (March 2025 price). The breakfast itself at full price is about $288.
There are lots of hotels in HK. I stayed in several different hotels in the 2024 trip. Regala Skycity was the only one I liked.
I like this hotel so much that I come back for my March 2025 trip. 21 days I stayed in the same hotel. Everything still feels the same as the 1st time... Clean, relax, good food, friendly staff, convenient location, easy access to connect to the rest of the cities of HK, Kowloon, and NT.
My mom broke her foot in the middle of the 2025 trip, bone fracture. Mr. Alex Lam, the Director of Operations-Front Office, was super helpful, and gave thoughtful suggestions. Not only that, he would follow through the special arrangements. My problem went away within a very short time. His whole team worked seamlessly and efficiently. I have to borrow this space to say thank you to the operation. THANK YOU, to Mr. Lam and your team. I really really appreciate your help.
There are also front desk staff, Snow (his name is Snow) and Pinky (her name is Pinky), their warm greetings, politeness, helpfulness, attentiveness, and genuine smiles, have to be specially mentioned. Their service is beyond excellence.
Top-notch customer service is further extended when Mr. Tony Fong, Senior Supervisor of Petra (one of the three restaurants in the hotel), who listened to customer's feedback and made immediate improvements, has greatly enhanced...
Read moreI only stayed at Regala Skycity Hotel for one night during a layover, but it was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. I thought check-in wasn’t until 3 PM, but I arrived early at 8 AM, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, checking me in with no extra fees—such a great start to my stay! The corridors to the rooms felt like a bit of a maze due to the sheer number of rooms, but once inside, the experience was fantastic. The Sky Deck was a lovely, peaceful spot where I could watch planes take off from the airport all day. I even had a great view of the planes from my room, which was a nice bonus. The room itself was spacious, modern, and well-designed, with plenty of mirrors, a nice desk, a TV, and a kettle for tea and coffee. The room was a perfect temperature when I arrived and stayed consistently comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, and I found it interesting that there was a space to hang clothes inside the shower—something I’d never seen before. There were also plenty of free amenities, and I loved that you could request additional items straight from your phone. The hotel also had vending machines on some floors, though they only accepted Octopus cards, Alipay, etc. There is a lovely huge swimming pool too but I don't think it was open during this time of year. The staff were very welcoming, and the lobby was a nice place to relax while waiting for transport. I made full use of the free shuttle bus service to and from Tung Chung, which made for a great day at Citygate Outlets, as well as the direct shuttle to Terminal 1 at the airport—super convenient and they run regularly. Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, and I would absolutely...
