the Arca — Hotel in Hong Kong

I stayed at The Arca for 5 nights (checked in 7 Aug 2025, checked out 12 Aug 2025). I originally booked a 4 night stay but extended my visit by another night because I liked it so much! I first stayed here in summer 2024 and already had an extremely high opinion of the hotel (you can read my previous review). Since then, it has attained perfection. I felt so welcome and well rested. I'm a solo leisure traveler, and The Arca is also ideal for families with young children and international businesspeople. During the first 4 nights, I was on the 33rd floor, and on the last night I stayed at the 25th floor. Both rooms were top-notch. Such a peaceful hotel.||HIGHLIGHTS:|* The folks at Team Arca go the extra mile. I arrived early ahead of the standard check-in time, but they still accommodated me and even gave me a complimentary upgrade to the largest sea view room! Special thanks to Kinki, Samantha, Kelvin, Peter, and Bell for making me feel like I was at home (I forget the names of the other staff, but everyone I met was wonderful!). The staff are really knowledgeable and gave me lots of good recommendations for places to eat at and visit. The housekeeping staff who kept my room shipshape and concierge on the ground floor are also really friendly. Everyone took an interest in my visit and made sure I was being looked after.|Highly convenient location. Wong Chuk Hang is in Hong Kong Island's relaxed neighbourhood with lots of brand new developments and the flagship Southside MTR shopping mall just down Heung Yip road, so you can't go wrong booking at The Arca for a calm, luxurious stay. 20 minute Uber ride to IFC in Central and 5 minute walk to Wong Chuk Hang's MTR station. It's really straightforward to get a ride from the hotel to Shek O and Repulse Bay if you like the beaches. Tons of great options nearby for food in the Southside shopping mall -- check out the dimsum at the Prince Restaurant |**Hotel is completely spotless, super clean, with every amenity imaginable. Rooms are huge and have stunning views of Aberdeen Harbour. The rooftop pool is great. The quality of the furnishings and toiletries in the rooms and general interior design throughout beats the chain operated 5 star hotels in Central. I love all the Arca-themed souvenirs which are in the rooms. The gift shop on the 3rd floor also has other merchandise for purchase. The hotel has a gym, too.
