Hardware of the hotel itself is definitely worth the value paid . Nor shampoo and body wash, decent water strength for overhead shower and ok hair dryer . If you are unfortunate enough however to be allocated a room facing the road however, it’s really loud and pretty impossible to sleep at night so if a good night rest is what are you looking for this is something to consider. I tried asking for a room facing the other side when I booked but they kind of just ignored my booking instruction so there was nothing left when I got the . Breakfast quality is really not great. Went down at 9 and there was barely anything left. For the remaining food, quality is not the best. One of the towels in the room smell like smoke. Would be better if they watch out for this. Staff did try to apologise for breakfast quality and attitude of the reception staff but I guess for this price it’s fair not to expect much anyways. Don't be deceived by it's external facade. It may look dated but rooms are clean and comfortable. ProsGood value for the price. Location is great . Located 340m from the Tangzhixiang metro station on line 6 which runs direct from the airport. 2 station south is the Kunming railway station providing connectivity to other cities in Yunnan China. Front desk was very helpful in providing great advise on visiting local attractions either at connecting a local tour itinerary or free and easy sight seeing by metro. Within 20mins walk to Nanping and xiangyun street night attraction from local street food to local handcrafts. ConsThe only 1 con are rooms with view of the main road can be a little noisy of the traffic if you are a light sleeper. I was not annoyed or affected by it.
