Lihe Hotel — Hotel in Shanghai

Quite uncomfortable experience, even though the location was strategic. I booked the hotel because it was chosen as TripPlus, in fact it didnt worth the title and money. 1. Smoking. I could smell someone smoking when I walked along the hotel corridor, everytime I walked from the lift back to the room. Also, one of our pillows had strong smell of cigarette smoke too.2. Attitude. The nightime hotel receptionist's attitude was rude. I was asking her few questions about the laundry and ironing. She just answered "wo bu zhi dao", she didn't even try to find answer or search for it.3. Laundry. Another reason I picked this hotel was because there is a laundry room. But it didn't mention on trip.com that the laundry wasn't free of charge. I've been staying in many different hotels in China, and this is the first time I had to pay for the laundry fees. One more thing, it was not paid to the hotel official bank account, I transferred the money to the hotel receptionist's private wechat account in order to exchange for the laundry coins. I dont think this is standard.Also, I have no choice but to use this dirty, nearly broken steam iron to press my graduation gown, and I'm really unhappy about it. Kuddos to House Keeping Ah Yi. The neighbourhood of this hotel is more on residence. There are many high rise residences surrounded Lihe Hotel.||||There are many restaurants, shops, shopping malls and even a local wet market nearby and easily reacheable by short walking.||||The checking area doesn't looks very classy but the room is nice. Air Conditioning is strong, beds are big and comfortable, and provided all other hotel are providing like kettle, big TV and telephone, free wifi, etc.||||The bathroom is marble floor with shower cubicle, it also provided shampoo and shower gel as well as towel for the traveller needs.||||Breakfast area are set up back part of the reception area, there is a live station for preparing noodle and fried eggs. There also serving hot food like noodle and rice, bread and salad in the morning. This is really a worth to include breakfast in the...
