Apartahotel Torre Del Prado — Hotel in Barranquilla

I traveled w/my husband, bro-in-law, their best friend whom speak no Spanish & my mother and I whom are bi-lingual.We traveled there for carnaval in Barranquilla as well as to visit family. We stayed at this hotel and they were the most pleasant, professional staff and very friendly. They had a fresh breakfast every morning with lots to choose from: eggs, oatmeal, fresh o.j. , fresh everything! Although, English is not their strong suit, (this may be their only draw back) they suggested places for us to visit.||The calendar doesn't go any further than 2009- but this was in February of 2008.||When we go back we'll stay...

Most of the kids at the desk are nice but it stops there. You get to your room and it is pretty plain but thats ok until you find some bugs. Then the shower pressure is poor and if you leave your room that little key they give you when you take it out it turns off the power to everything. So we come back and the room is sweltering the fridge has stopped so all the water and beer are warm ohh and by the way there is no ice. If I ever get a notion to stay here again someone...

Be careful because after you book through an aggregator they’ll aggressively push you into completing a bank transfer to “secure the booking”, which is quite fishy as those bookings are already secured via credit card through the aggregator itself.
