Very disappointing meal. The good news for the owners if they happen to read this is the problems are relatively easy to fix.
I had the pepper steak and the melted cheese appetizer. First of all, I got the appetizer after the main course because the quantity of the main course wasn't sufficient. The pepper steak itself tasted good however it was advertised as 160g, but there was no way it was over 100g. It was served upon a bed of mashed potatoes that were a bit bland but not bad. The problem is they served it in a literal pool of grease. This was clearly intended and it was pooled as if it was a gravy or coulis. It actually created a good looking presentation, but it was grease. It tasted like grease, it had the texture of grease, and it sat in my stomach like grease. Look at the picture, it was taken off the menu. That yellow stuff is just fat.
Find a better sauce.
The cheese appetizer was inundated with so much rosemary that I could taste nothing else. I pulled a 6 inch stalk of rosemary out of the dish. A crushed thistle or two would have been sufficient. The tree they added was therefore overkill. The choice of mozzarella for fondue is questionable, but I would have let it pass if it wasn't so overpowered by the spices. There's a reason that traditional fondue is not just straight cheese, but instead of usually cut with something to make it flow. The result was as soon as it cooled halfway through eating it I just had a glob of melted rosemary flavored cheese.
All of this was priced very high for what I received. Even the bottle of water was overpriced. It should have been at least 20 percent less across the board.
The atmosphere was very comfortable overall but As I was the only person in the restaurant, the music was unnecessarily loud. You have a quaint intimate atmosphere. Choose less invasive music. You can find the heavy techno music in literally every other restaurant in this city.... Make yours stand out.
The service was good, but again I was the only person in the restaurant so it should have been.
The restaurant has potential but I was disappointed in the meal I received. I wish you well and hope you address...

Read morePor favor NO VAYAN a este restaurante. Esta es la demostracion perfecta de que no cualquiera puede abrir un restaurante en Bquilla. Mi experiencia fue mala desde el principio. Primero llegamos y no habia nadie recibiendo en la entrada ni organizacion de mesas de ningun tipo. Ni siquiera una sala para esperar o barra, pero mas que eso, NADIE nos atendia o nos decia algo y para rematar, cuando por fin logramos hablar con alguien nos dice que en 10 mins se desocupa una mesa. Terminamos esperando 25 mins (de pie).
El restaurante estaba EVIDENTEMENTE con falta de personal, muy pocos meseros para la cantidad de gente que habia. Habia muchas mesas molestas. Cuando por fin logran sentarnos, no nos atienden por mas de 15 mins y toco pararnos a hacer el pedido.
Pedimos las hamburguesas, que es por lo que era recomendado el lugar, y oh sorpresa... no hay. En ese momento debimos irnos, pero ya era demasiada el hambre y ya habiamos esperado mas de 1h en el lugar. Solo queriamos comer e irnos. Nos toco conformanos con unas pizzas y bebidas.
Esperamos otros 40 mins y ni siquiera nos habian llevado una botella de agua. La mesa de al lado no le llego la comida completa y lo que llegaba, llegaba a destiempo. A nosotros nos llego la pizza sin platos, sin cubiertos, sin bebidas y sin aderezos (a pesar que los solicitamos). Pero lo peor de todo, es que todo este caos lo presenciaron los dueños que estaban en la caja y no hacian nada. Dejaron que el pobre mesero asumiera y diera la cara por la pesima calidad del servicio del que el no tenia la mayoria de la culpa.
En cuanto a la calidad de la pizza, no se pierden de nada. Es una pizza mas con mucho queso. Pedimos una de camarones que trajo aproximadamente 7 camarones en total.
Al final de la noche termine pagando mas de 200 mil pesos por 3 pizzas y par de copas de vino, pero sobretodo por una experiencia terrible...
