Hotel Normandy — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

The rooms acceptable, but is very noisy, you can’t rest well because you can hear the noise from other guests and people on the hallways awfully loud and all overnight. But with no hesitation is the service, the worst thing of all, the receptionist is a disrespectful, rude and manipulative person in every sense, she listen to you and still do nothing about it, ignoring my requests, complains and petitions. Is just disgusting.

She even allowed a party on one of the rooms, and did nothing when I complained about it, just ignored me in such a disrespectful way

Stay there if you are looking for a terrible attention and bad night.

Like 10 minutes away from it there more hotels with better quality of the staff, safer location and service

Among the worst experiences regarding the staff of the hotel, the service is terrible in every sense, the receptionist is just an awful and careless person who doesn’t give a damn about you as a guest, Someone can organise a party or speak out loud overnight and she would do nothing about it. The rooms aren’t bad, However the noise is very annoying, and you can hear people on the hallways, other rooms and from the outside so expect your rest being interrupted several times overnight. You also need to carry your own products like soap and shampoo. If you take a room in a lower floor, you probably could hear the noise and loud talks on the reception. Las habitaciones y demás son aceptables, tienen buenas camas y sus agradables espacios. Sin embargo, el servicio es sencillamente aberrante, la recepcionista es desatenta y despreocupada cuando se trata de atender a los huéspedes, una noche de más, llegue cansado, pase directo a la habitación y olvide hacer la cancelación de esa noche en específico, recibí una llamada por parte a las 10:40am, además, en la misma noche, otros huéspedes decidieron organizar una fiesta y alrededor de las 4:00am el nivel de ruido era muy fuerte, esta misma recepcionista me dijo cuando baje a hablar con ella que había intentado comunicarse con ellos y no tuvo ninguna respuesta y lo iba a hacer nuevamente, pero no fue hasta que yo mismo marque a esa habitación que sonó el teléfono de allá y los huéspedes le bajaron al sonido, la recepcionista no hizo nada. Por si fuera poco me dijo que debía irme porque ya reservaron esa misma habitación para esa noche, que prácticamente estaba ocupado.
