Wonderful. Just. Wonderful. |1. It gets chilly during the night, but the beds don't just have a white, thin sheet. They have triple layers, covered like at your granny's :) best beds I've slept in since I started traveling 4 months ago.|2. Good breakfast, but not included! |3. Decent kitchen.|4. Hot showers! Oh my god I forgot the joy of hot showers on a cold evening!|5. Amazing bikes! I was astounded when I saw the bikes. They're in better condition than most Belgian bikes. Perfect to cycle to Pasaje de Angel for example :)|6. The water for once isn't overpriced! You can't drink from the tap, but they sell water for the original price on the bottle - 1500/L.|7. And how can I forget the hosts! Two friendly, helpful, funny guys who will guide you through Villa de Leyva's activities! Thx for the amazing week, guys! Greetz...

Read moreWe recently stayed here for 3 nights. Our private room with private bathroom was honestly stunning, especially for the price. The hostel is a very large upscale home with two levels. The bottom floor has a family room, kitchen and back covered patio with a pool table/ping pong table. The upstairs is reached from outside and has another very large kitchen, a flatscreen tv with couches and another small third floor for lounging and reading. The front yard had a gazebo area with couches and a hammock and the owners organize activities everyday like family dinner, bonfire with corn on the cob or live music and dancing. There are also mountain bikes and helmets to rent for cheap. The vibe while we were there was very calm and relaxing (like the entire city of Villa De Leyva) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you...
