Nice two storied boutique hotel , matches with the small picturesqe town of villa de leyva . Central courtyard has garden with flowers bushes in large earthen pots,&on windowsills. Rooms small —our room rather dark but enough space for two beds ,bathroom was alright , one gets an idea how residents lived once and probably live now. ||Breakfast served fresh juice, delicious arepa ,omelettes cheese ,fruits coffee etc . Inside the town and within walking distance is the main square and cobble stoned narrow paths . Several restaurants nearby within two three minutes walks, serving hot dishes in affordable prices. during our stay for two nights some music festival was going on and traders filled their shops with Panama hats , food items , toys ,potteries and other staffs, Hotel staffs r friendly many of them students. Hotel library with many books , billiard table , good sitting areas & interesting photographs of Pancho Villa .we enjoyed our stay. There is also...

Easy to walk to lots of things, including gato de Rio statues..a must see if you like cats, art, or culture. Rooms nicely decorated and airy, shaded..which is good cuz no A/C..not really necessary though as is breezy and shady. One downside..no direct TV, tho TV in rooms..this means no American football!! Which if you've seen my other reviews is like a natural disaster! Apparently it can be watched at Hooter's in Cali.. Though would much prefer to watch the later...
