Hotel San Antonio Plaza — Hotel in Cali

this place is the best for those who love everything within reach! safe location right off the main street la quinta avenida. right on the corner outside the hotel to your right on the same block theirs a 24 hour panaderia(bakery). cali's oldest church is within 4minutes walk in the area. ||||we stayed on the 5th floor with the terrace being directly outside my door. no elevators so be prepared to hike up the 5th floor. you can grab a taxi right outside 9 out of 10 times. located looking north you can head to chipichapi mall within 5 mins in cab. or head south to ciudad jardin as well. Very secure hotel,area, great staff and great price. located within 3mins walking distance of el pennon and the intercontinental hotel. the view from the terrace is the south, west and north with views of san Antonio iglesia. ||||if you smoke, its ok as well. just go to the terrace on fifth floor. ||||room cleaning was spectacular and I tipped the nice lady 5k a day.||||stood here for 1 month and 16 days.||||never got tired of the place or area,||||everyday I would walk to the center shopping area of cali. where most people and small business owners go to buy wholesale merchandise. only 10min walk leaves you directly in the action and heart of cali. ||||Colombia is cheap now! for those of you who want to enjoy a country that will dominate within the next 5 years buy and travel in...

The hotel is ok|No restaurant ... Lounge is always closed|Basically you get you room and that's it.||Breakfast is offered.. Always eggs, bread, juice, fruit and coffee which is fine. If you arrive tired and hungry with no energy to go out .. Plan on getting food delivered as there is no restaurant or room service. At night only 1 guy works which makes him in charge of the lobby, security, every room etc. I know it's a small hotel but still , at least 2 people should work every shift.|||Right now I'm almost falling asleep as I barely slept anything. Noisiest rooms ever if you get towards the street. Never ever stopped... Dangerous and noisy street.||Some of the bathrooms don't have a shower with its own construction and sliding door but just the shower as it is where water pours everywhere in the bathrooms and becomes a pool ...there's no division from the shower to the rest of the bathroom.||Its very common for people to come in and ask if they works by hours (motel style) I think basically because it's bright pink outside just like a motel.||I really didn't enjoy my stay I wouldn't recommend it to anyone... The decor is great, the ac is great, and the very helpful managers try their best. ||But this place is on one of the busiest highways in the city and the rooms do not have proper noise insulation. The standard rooms are small and lack natural light. We had the suite: the windows of the en-suite bathroom had no curtains so we had - as well as the road noise - the street light all night long. The room was next to the elevator and vibrated every time the elevator went up or down. Despite having earplugs and an eye-mask, I had one of the worst night's sleep if everyone had in any hotel. ||The bathroom smelt (slightly) of sewage. The jacuzzi was too powerful and splashed so much water out of the bath it was unusable. The high tech shower had insufficient pressure. The breakfast is on an extremely most terrace overlooking the highway, and -incredibly for Colombia - consists of instant coffee (and cold dried out toast, and chemical-tasting carton juice).||There are far better places for similar...
