Casa Pastora Hotel Coworking Guatape — Hotel in Guatapé

I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the coworking facilities at this location. I am a digital nomad. I found myself needing a high-speed internet connection so I could work. I was impressed by how fast and reliable the internet connection was, especially given that the location (Guatape) is quite remote. The owner/manager let me test the internet connection before committing. My experience was the best location for the internet connection was the main dining table. The price for coworking services was reasonable, and the owner/manager went above and beyond making me feel as welcome and comfortable as possible, including free coffee. I ended up using the coworking services each day for a number of days. I recommend the coworking services to other digital nomads (or anyone else looking to work via the internet) while in Guatape.

I cannot comment on the rooms because I did not live in the hotel. However, the family that ran the hotel, including the owner/manager, her husband, and her children, were all hospitable, kind and...

Not a good experience - The locks on the bedroom didn’t work, leaving all of our belongings at risk. The bedroom we were in was next to the communal area where other guests (including people that weren’t staying there!) were very loud & playing music until 11:30pm and then woke us up again at 6:20am. We tried to contact the contact number provided by Hostelworld in the evening but didn’t receive a response. We then followed up with the owner the following day via SMS messages to clarify what happened and she stopped replying.

I’d like to point out that we never write bad reviews like this but people should be aware that you won’t get any peace if there are other people using the communal areas and there are no ground rules or anyone at the property overseeing...

Una experiencia terrible!! Un lugar totalmente diferente a como lo pintan en las "referencias de 5 estrellas". Empezando porque sus instalaciones son muy diferentes a como las muestran en fotos, (espacios mucho más pequeños e incluso con cosas por reparar como por ejemplo la parte eléctrica ya que si llueve, la luz se va durante horas en todo el lugar y lo único que se puede hacer es esperar a oscuras en la habitación hasta que por fin restablezcan el servicio), ahora lo más triste y terrible de todo es que aprovechando su publicidad de ser "co-working" permiten que las zonas comunes que tiene el hospedaje, (que realmente es una casa pequeña de 2 pisos) SEAN USADAS AL ANTOJO DE ALGUNAS PERSONAS, que aún siendo tarde en la noche (tipo 9, 10 u 11 PM) NO tienen reparo en cocinar, tirar las cosas y reír, gritar o hablar de temas totalmente alejados a lo laboral como si fuera cualquier hora del día SIN QUE LES IMPORTE QUE YA HAY PERSONAS TRATANDO DE DESCANSAR en las habitaciones contiguas a la "sala-cocina común" donde se sientan a hablar. Y lo peor es que al manifestarle la incomodidad al personal del Hospedaje, su respuesta es: "Pues este es un espacio co-working y hay gente que habla hasta tarde en las zonas comunes y no les podemos decir que no hablen, entonces vamos a preguntar en otro hospedaje que es aliado nuestro si podemos trasladarlos, ya que les molesta el ruido". Entonces, quieren invertir mal su dinero y quedarse en un lugar donde puedas hacer de todo menos descansar?? Entonces hospédate ahí. DEFINITIVAMENTE NO...
