I will speak based on my experience. I always like to read reviews about a place before I go, especially the negative ones. Now remember this is not a 5 star restaurant. And sometimes the help is not there so you might experience some waiting. And they probably have some turnover with employees. Now I could tell my sever was new, but besides that the food was great. Yeah there was a little bit of wait, but it was nothing compared to a restaurant that is fully staffed and the servers are just playing on their phone not paying attention to the customer. I I want to address a post that a person made about tips that are added to the check and the 5% surge charge for credit card use. For the tip. It is common to see this in tourist areas, and if you are complaining about a 2 or 3 dollar tip, I suggest you never visit Florida especially Disney of Miami. By the time you are done you'll be leaving 20 plus dollars tips everytime you visit an establishment. As for the 5% surcharge for credicard use, these are not big corporations you are dealing with, if you want to avoid that pull out some pesos. Overall the experience and the...
Read moreThis place is amazing. We were in Guatape for about a week and ended up coming back here at least every other day. The food and service was beyond our expectation and the owners really helped to make our trip something special. We went here on our first day and we not only got a great meal, but also ended up meeting Marcel and Joanna who gave us a lot of advice about where to go and what to do in the area. Marcel invited me to go on a mountain bike ride with him while I was there , which was one of the highlights of our trip. One of the things that stood out regarding the menu, which is one of the reasons why we kept coming back was the variety. They not only had the obligatory local dishes, but also had many delicious offerings from other corners of the globe that kept every visit interesting. Thank you Marcel and Joanna for making our visit to your little corner of the...
Read moreGreat place for brunch and coffee to fuel up for your days adventures! We stopped here for brunch before our plan to climb La Piedra del Penol and we were not disappointed! Our iced coffees were delicious and our entrees were hearty and full of flavor! The salmon and avocado bagel sandwich was amazing, but the only shortcoming was that it did not come with any sort of side (my mistake for not catching it, not the restaurant's). We spoke with the owner after paying our bill about the restaurant being a local hub and guide service for mountain bike rides in the area. We found out that they do a free morning ride every day, and they even provide bikes to travelers with a passport! As a cyclist myself, this is definitely the place to be for pre- and post-ride nutrition if you are staying in the area! I hope to visit again and take part in one of their rides...
