We had a really wonderful wandering around in Guatapé and found this quite beautiful church. It is known as Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Carmen located in the main square of Guatapé. It is famous for its striking red and white facade, which shines brightly in the sunlight, and its impressive Greco-Roman architectural style featuring large arches and circular bevels on its columns. The church is located inside Guatapé, located right next to the Main Park of Guatapé, and one of the tallest buildings in Guatapé as well. The colors of the church and just the whole architecture is pretty cool and unique as well. The church’s inside seems to be mainly made of wood which is pretty different to see in churches at least for me.

It’s free to enter but do make sure to be quiet and respectful. The church’s ceiling is high and the whole spaces including the seats are pretty spacious.
