I was with a group and some were very surprised (in a good way) with their accommodations. I was surprised in a not-so-good way. Late at night, I decided to shower. The shower door fell in on me. I got it back in the track, fortunately, but by then I noticed that the water wasn't draining and was up to my ankles. I turned off the water to lather up and let the water drain a bit. I took the soap off of the soap dish and the dish part fell off of the holder on the wall. I kicked around a bit in the still standing water and finally found it and put it back on the holder. I had to very carefully remove the door; I later found the roller wheel had been put on top of the shower and that cleaning and maintenance had done nothing. The one thing I enjoyed was the comfort of the bed. After a long travel day, the comfortable bed was very welcome. It is a Boutique hotels so it is small. My room had a beautiful view of the mountains including a distant active volcano. There are few if any shops within walking distance of the hotel that I could identify.
