Hostal El Edén Manizales — Hotel in Manizales

This is a nice hotel with very friendly staff members. I was in room 302, which is a room for one person. In December 2012, the official price was 65.000 pesos, but they offered me the room for 55.000. The rooms here are very small, but nicely decorated. ||||The location is central, but there is a lot of noise there. It's located near the corner of Calle 17 and Carrera 20. There are a lot of heavy trucks and buses that pass by this intersection, and I don't think there's a room in this hotel that doesn't receive this noise. If it weren't for the noise, I would probably give them 4 stars, but for a good night's sleep, this isn't the best place. ||||It's located about 5-6 blocks from Plaza Bolivar, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. I stayed in this little hidden gem and their hospitality was great, the rooms are very clean and it was a nice experience overall, it's location is in the center or 'downtown' of the city so it's perfect if you're planning to do all day activities. Hotel El Eden es un lugar muy bonita con un ambiente tranquilo y limpio. Esta en el área del centro histórico y muy conveniente a el Catedral Basílica, Iglesia Los Agustinos, los centro comerciales y barrio chipre. Cuando llegamos, nos ofrece un café y tiempo para relajar. Carlos Andrés lleva nuestras maletines a la habitación y también nos recomiendo lo mejor lugares. Preguntamos por café en la tarde, ellos hicieron nuevo café y llévalo a nuestra habitación con gusto. Todo los empleados fueron muy amable. El servicio y precios fueron espectacular. ||||Hotel El Eden is a beautiful place with a calm and clean environment. It's in the center historic area and convenient to the Cathedral, church, malls and chipre neighborhood (where you can watch the sunset and view the city from a tower.) When we arrived they offered us a coffee and a moment to rest from our trip. Carlos Andres took our bags to our room for us and recommended the best places.
