We had a very bad expierence with Ayenda and all the people who work for them. The day we left for Colombia we recieved like three extra comfirmations. None of them said “!! We changed your hotel last minute”. But in the messages the prices were different so I asked them repeatedly why. They just sended me another confirmation, with again a different price. The person who was supposed to host us, stopped replying (probably cause she didn’t speak English). At this moment I was talking to two people on whatsapp and the message section of booking. There isn’t a single moment where they said they changed hotels, they kept on sending the same message. So I just left things cause I jad to board from Belgium. We just landed in Colombia so were very tired and put in the address from booking to the supposed place. When we arrived, no one spoke English. They absolutely didn’t want to help, the receptionist couldn’t even point out where the other location was, they didn’t want to pay for our taxi (we didn’t even had cash to take one) to the new hotel. The new hotel was in a bad neighboorhood, the reviews were bad, the room was more expensive, … so we didn’t take it. But it took us 4 hours of negotiating and contacting booking. We found something else on ourselves around midnight. Costumer...

It’s near a safe area but the place itself is near a more dangerous commercial zone- locals warned us about robbers and dangerous homeless people hiding in the green area in front. there is terrible wifi and we had multiple incidents where the cleaning service staff forgot to refill the toilet paper, took our towels and left us without any (happened at least twice), did not empty the tiny trash cans, made the bed but did not clean at all (was visibly dirty), and I found bits of food on the bedding upon arrival (in addition to full trash bins). We also had a confusing experience as we didn’t get the room we had initially been assigned and were told we’d be switched the next day but never were after about a week. (I believe this had to do with either the state of the room in general or a damaged wall which I’ll show in the last photo- the person spoke to quickly and we didn’t ask further questions). On the bright side, the staff was very sweet and considerate, specially a red headed lady and for her we were...
Read moreWell... where to start. When we arrived we didn't even know where to go as there is no sign indicating that the reception is on the second floor. Then when we got our room it was missing bedsheets, blankets, towels, toilet paper. The light in the bathroom wasn't working and we were told that it wouldn't be fixed.
When we eventually did get our bedsheets and blanket they were covered in all sorts of stains... really gross. We had to ask for toiletpaper again as they "forgot" to bring it to us again. The staff always responded quite nice, but did little to nothing to make things better.
The location is good, but if you're looking for a hotel to stay for a longer amount of time I would strongly recommend...
