As a American I can only attest to the war on drugs in America. I know pablo escobar has made a dark spot in colombia history. But also the war on drugs in America began in this time period. I am intrigued by the history, wanted to get a experience from the people of colombia. What they had to say and how they felt. The biggest take away I got is alot of people want to erase the history (government) this time period was very dark with suffering that erases any good that was done by this guy. It was a inside look at the people that grew up in this Era there story and alot of people that I talked to acknowledge the evil that took place but also had a positive story to add.
