Even though it has the name HOTEL attached to it, it is not! It is more like a big house that has been remodeled to 15 rooms. The location is excellent. I wouldn't attempt to walk to "Parque Lleras but Santa Fe and Oviedo are very doable. The ladies at the front desk were more pleasant to deal with than the men. The "hotel" is clean and quiet for the most part but, you will hear other guest talking, opening and closing of doors and motorcycle noise. The rooms vary in size but, they are all comfortable. Beware, only 3 rooms have Air Conditioners and there will be an extra fee for those! Something else to look out for; if you are a foreigner, there is suppose to be no IVA (tax) charged. Also, the "hotel insurance" is not mandatory. Wi-Fi is included as well as breakfast which is freshly made to order. Over all, my experience was mostly pleasant however, I noticed numerous new "hostal's" that would put this...
Read moreWhen I made the reservation, I asked about accessibility. The reply was the entrance had scales. They should have said nine stairs to lobby. Overall the hotel is clean but the morning breakfast is on the small size. A couple pieces of pineapple, papaya, a glass of orange juice, no other juice, a small omelet, but unlimited coffee.||The bedroom had a hard double bed, fan no a/c, a desk with old type TV, not flat screen leaving little room for a lap top. The bathroom is another story. Almost impossible to use the toilet, one leg in the shower, remove the toilet paper and put other leg between holder. When you turned on the shower the door has to be closed quickly or the water runs on the floor in front of the sink. The mirror is short and I had to bend over to see to shave.||The best part of the hotel is the yard with many flowers, animals and makes for a tranquil setting. The staff personnel are friendly...
Read moreThe hotel is actually one of the houses of the already 30-40 year old neighborhood, located across the street one of the best social clubs in Medellin. The neighborhood is quite calm and very trendy, not to mention how safe and well located it is. Now, about the stay :::||||- The rooms are a bit old styled and I'd say the old TV sets could be replaced, though I had a good 37" one which still works fine.||- The bathroom is simple and good enough, but nothing fancy... it does the job and it was clean! ||- Breakfast was good and you had a couple of options to choose from, being it's patio location really nice, since it's by the garden and all the birds can be seen and listened to.||||I'd likely go back if I needed a cheap option in the neighborhood. It's the typical bead and breakfast setting, with very good service and very...
