My girlfriend and I stayed in a private room with en-suite bathroom here for three nights in between Christmas and New Year. |This hostel is located about a 15-20 minute walk from town and around 10-15 minute walk from the airport.|We were greeted by Juan and his family who are so warm and welcoming, and they are happy to accommodate all of your needs, including the hiring of a buggy (150,000 peso for a day) to travel around the island.|Breakfast is available for 12,000 or 10,000 peso, however we didn’t use this, as there is a supermarket right next door which was extremely handy and seemed to be always open.|Our room was clean, comfortable and adequate for our needs, although there did seem to be something wrong with the plumbing in the shower (a minor issue) as water leaked a few times onto the bedroom floor.|We were provided with towels for the shower, which wasn’t majorly hot but was absolutely fine considering the temperature on the island.|The room was cleaned every day which most hostels wouldn’t do.|On the day of checkout we were able to leave our bags for the day while we went to the beach before our late flight.|The only downside was that the internet in our room was so slow; and you could often hear noise from outside on a night time, but nevertheless this didn’t impact our stay too much.|All in all, a great stay here at Posada San Nicolas and I would recommend it to you.|Oh and PS, they have a lovely dog called ‘Doggy’ who was...

Adriana it’s in charge on the rooms and Juan on the golf carts, bicycles and the motorcycles for rent . The convenience of everything it’s just perfect . The airport ride as an today was about 15,000 Colombian pesos , and it’s super close . Smoking it’s allowed only at the front. For the room they accept credit cards , but for the renting of the carts, bicycle, motorcycles only in cash . No breakfast or use of the kitchen it’s allow , but they offer tinto (black coffee ) everyday we stayed at their place . Adriana and Juan are most beautiful good hearted people I have met . If you need packages for the tours ask them, if you need a ride ask them, they can facilitate you as long as the carts are available . I will so come back here and recommend this place . They are too amazing and helpful. You must wash your hands everytime you come in , and wash the sand of your feet at the entrance. Juan can rent you mopeds, tours and help you navigate the fun and best activities, you get a free cup of vine when you go to capitan mandis (seafood restaurant) because you stay at Juans. Juan made me herbal tea when I was sick. There is a grocery store right next store. 15-20 walk to town center.
