I've been twice in Seaweed for drinks and really enjoyed it! The staff is really pleasant and ready on the spot. I also had some pizza for takeout and it was delicious even after my ride back to the hostel. The place has some nice lighting and is very tidy overall. I just hung out at the bar for most of my stay but it gave me a good impression. The barista was really sweet and gave us some advice of places we could visit nearby.

We ordered corn and bacon pizza and a chicken burger. The pizza is some variation of an Italian one, heavy in sauce and add-ons, the dough is also not really like the original Italian but it was overall edible and tasty, the size (x8) is like for 2 people (unless they are super hungry). The burger was greasy and heavy, also a bit too salty to our taste, French fries were very good 👌 the interior is clean and air conditioned 👍

Abbiamo cenato in questo piccolo locale e, se da un lato la qualità del cibo era buona, dall’altro l’esperienza è stata rovinata dai tempi di attesa davvero eccessivi. Le porzioni non erano abbondanti, ma i piatti erano ben preparati e gustosi. Purtroppo, il servizio è stato incredibilmente lento: abbiamo aspettato un’esagerazione per il nostro ordine, senza alcuna spiegazione. Non sappiamo se siamo capitati nella serata sbagliata o se sia sempre così, ma l’impressione è che la nostra comanda fosse stata dimenticata o comunque non mandata avanti in tempi normali. Peccato, perché il posto ha del potenziale, ma con un servizio del genere diventa difficile voler tornare

UPDATE: So we went back! We had to wait for 2 orders of camaron crispy (which is an appetizer) and 1 order of ceviche ("seaweed style" this time, and more expensive than regular ceviche) for an hour 🤣 Camaron was okay, but ceviche was sooo bland I only took few bites... I don't know maybe it's a different chef and staff today, but really underwhelming experience.

PREVIOUS REVIEW: So glad we decided on this place tonight! All three things we ordered (camaron crispy, ceviche, y pizza costillas BBQ) were really good! The wait time for food to arrive was really good! (which is an absolute joy in Colombia if your food arrives under an hour wait). And the wait staff was amazing: friendly and super efficient!...

We ate there 4 times… Good food ! Maybe the best pizza I have ate in Latin America in general, second salad in the menu really really good, service good also, BUT ! A bit expensive and also the last day we took a small bottle of water and we pay 6000 for it… that’s robbery, double and more price than in Europe, felt not nice at all… also we pay 2000 more for the take away pizza, so we pay that take away more money than eat it there.. first time see something like that in my life.. it’s not about the 2000 ofc but about the thinking… so people of this restaurant correct those small things and you would have one of the best restaurants in town, thank you for...
