Hotel Media Luna — Hotel in Santa Marta

Very very cheap hotel for the quality you get. Yes there are no windows, but if you are only here to sleep, cool down & relax its fine. Especially after trekking for a few days it was perfect for us. ||Location is not great but we didn't care for the cost & that we were only planning on sleeping.||We paid $50.000COP ($20) for a private room with excellent AC, wifi, fridge, coffee in the morning & private bathroom. ||We asked if they had a washing machine & they happily did our washing for us FREE of charge, twice!!! ||If your Spanish is not very good expect the young lady at reception to get her translator out, which can be frustrating, but at least she is trying.. And every request we made (extra towel, 2 forks, washing etc.) was followed through very quickly! ||Busy road outside the room so if your a light sleeper, you may not enjoy the location. ||Would...

The hotel is super cheap and prices go at around 40.000 for a double per night. Private bathroom, daily room cleaning and all though no aircon in our room you get two fans and a comfy bed. I read a couple reviews who said no windows, but I assure you that room 201 does in fact have a window. Very basic hotel, not anything out of the ordinary but then again, I didn't expect anything more for the price. Good for backpackers needing a little privacy or travelers who will stay satisfied...

Estuvimos un total de 6 noches alojados.||||Ubicación: esta a 10 cuadras del centro, se puede ir y volver caminando a cualquier hora sin problema. Al lado en la esquina hay una panadería excelente y muy barata. No pueden de dejar de comprarle sus panes caliente. Por la vuelta venden chorizos en un puesto en la calle que también es muy rico, en otras de las esquinas venden empanadas excelentes y también muy baratas. Por la zona se come muy bien por mucho menos que en el centro (sin lujos).Tiene buena conexión de buses para ir a cualquier parte de Santa Marta.||||Servicios: sin ningún lujo, pero todo muy limpio, hay habitaciones con A.C o solo con ventilador, ajustándose al bolsillo de cada uno. La cama era muy cómoda, buena calidad de descanso. No se escuchan ruidos. El wifi es gratuito y rápido. TV por cable.||||Atención: Cesar es muy amable y organizado par trabajar y dar recomendaciones, tiene mapas impresos desde google maps con el camino indicado y los lugares recomendados, la verdad que muy útiles para cuando uno no conoce||||Relación precio-calidad: yo creo que es inmejorable en Santa Marta, hay habitaciones desde COL 28.000 que son pequeñas...
